Moment’s Eternity

 

Consider the beauty of a sunset. If this were your awareness right now, it would be because you are the beauty, the very awareness itself (ourself), not the sunset, not the form the awareness takes. Likewise, pure Awareness (our innermost Being)  expresses it’s (our) Nonessentiality in many forms, but Suchness is not a form itself–and neither are we. 

In dropping the watcher (ego), in not conceptualizing the moment as an end, we Are the Nonliteral Perspective (Nonego), and intusee (live) ourself as a Whole, as the Totality of Being (God). For even as beauty is the essential quality of the sunset, ourself as a Whole is the essential Quality or Nonessentiality of beauty. And thus throughout the day, as thing-events come and go in our lives, as the forms pure Awareness takes arises and passes away in our minds, we remain as a Whole the very Awareness of what is.

We Are moment’s Eternity, the innate Being that sustains every experience, the Reality that Rests Within every form of experience, the Truth that transcends every attempt to reach it. For the only way to know this ultimate Truth Is to Be the Truth, the living Truth…and That is no conceptualization. In Truth, we Are Being all that We See; there is nothing to hold onto, no it to grasp…for in Being it (Intubeing), the literal is Nonliteral, the partial is Total, all things are Nonthingness, and we Are That!

So how do we step out of the ego, the void, the emptiness that is form, Into Being? Intubeing the Fullness (Suchness) of Life? Moment’s Eternity? We don’t…for We already Are! Only Realize this/that and we already Are the Realization (direct Perception), the Reality that just Is…Being Complete in itself (Ourself/Totality of Being), and thus the split-consciousness, the watcher, the conceptualization, the partial/literal aspect is dropped.

It is by the grace of God, our innermost Being, that we may Realize this/that Within ourself and As Ourself. So the possibility and potential for direct Perception (Intuperception/Nonliteral Perspective), that is, Being what We See, lies Within each of us who opens his/her heart completely to Who and what we really Are.

The Whole That I Am

 

As life is not the object (body/form) but the Space (Spirit) that we Are, our very Being rather than the image (conceptualization), knowing comes from Within, from the Whole that I Am, not from outside of us. The person is a shadow (partiality), the Spirit its Light (Totality). And when we enter into the Light we breathe the Space and we Are the Space, the Whole Consciousness I Am (Spirit/God).

This is resurrection! Not a resurrection of the shadow, and all the suffering that comes with it, but of the Light, even our Lord and innermost Being. Thus, to Rest through myself, the person, and know ourself as a Whole (Spirit), is to Live the Principal of Life, God in man (Christ Jesus).

The path reveals itself in many forms but at the Heart of each is the Way of the cross: consciously confronting, penetrating, understanding, and by that understanding coming from Within, resolving any attachment to and conflict with the thing-events before us. Such is living/being meditation/religion/faith/life/God: an unbroken psychological process and pattern of sublimation and transmutation which opens up and releases the energies of the individual mind or divided ego (complexity) to journey into and through itself, that we may, in a selfless mode or intustate of nonattachment and holy indifference, transcend the human material but lesser dimension of mind, and spiritualize as living light!

In Dreaming We Are An Open Book

I have been aware of my dreams for years. Though most dreams might not seem particularly significant, in fact quite zany, some not only tell me symbolically what is going on with me now but have revealed past incarnations, out of body experiences, direct insights into the human psyche and, on very rare occasions, a revelation from God, our innermost Being. I even dreamt verses of poetry which became part of my first book The Heart Speaks.

Thus dreams have been a very important part of my life: an avenue into self…into what lies through self-consciousness (ego). Sometimes my dreams are like movies, mostly adventure, and often I am the hero facing some dread and conquering it or saving a damsal in distress. At other times, I am a superman doing incredible feats and know myself to be immortal. I look forward to going to sleep because my dreams can be so vivid and exciting. But I also look forward to waking up because I can take that same spirit with me to meet the day.

The insights that have come to me in dreams have changed my life. I have had dreams that have shown me what is going to happen…only to later realize that they came true. In fact, no dream has ever lied to me. In some dreams I am even aware that I am dreaming, but have no fear because I know we are more than the dream, that the dream is only a context through which our spirit communicates with the shadow us, the dreamer. 

I am always contemplating something or meditating just before going to bed, so that probably sets my mind in a proper mode for remembering my dreams and allowing me to be receptive to them. Acceptance and trust is most important. If I want an answer to, or an insight into, something, I will think deeply about it before retiring and then drop the thought completely. Often the answer or insight will show up in a dream, the discernment unmistakable.

I cannot suggest too strongly the need to remember our dreams. This is something we can do for ourselves that will not only help us to better understand what we are thinking and feeling but actually improve our well being in giving us a creative, confident and healthy attutude to meet the day. Dreams can change our life!

The Fear Of Life

When I speak of confronting, penetrating, understanding and resolving the contraries of human nature, I’m referring to a living process that has been known down through the centuries by the spiritual-minded who, coming aware, have dared to fulfill this Truth and Principal of Life  through their own existence on earth. This is a no-nonsense approach to spirituality and, by its very nature, goes directly to the heart of the problem (ego) that has plagued human beings from the very beginning of time. I believe that many are called to it, but few answer the call, and fewer still become the very process itself (ourself), The reason for this is FEAR…THE FEAR OF LIFE. 

It’s like allowing yourself to be captured by the enemy, the enemy in this case being the energy that comes up in you when you must face that which you dread, and then choosing to absorb the moment, that is, to totally accept it, becoming the energy-consciousness itself rather than experiencing such as the other (the dread). I call this discipline the Way of the cross, and believe this is what is really being communicated through the gospel story in the Bible.

In identifying with the body/personality, we are contained by our life’s energy, and the sense of selfhood (ego) is ever with us in that state. Liberation is release from this containment. Thus it is said: the Truth shall set you free! But there is no release without understanding Awareness, and there is no understanding unless you are willing to absorb life’s energy and allow the same to reveal the Truth through the psychological process Within yourself, thus realizing that we Are that Truth, the very Light of our innermost Being (God).

So, when we deny, out of fear, the openess of our true Nature and struggle against the Light, which is our own energy-consciousness, we oppress ourself (and do so even when attacking others), becoming both the victim and the victimizer. But if we accept our cross and  selfhood (ego) without judgment, absorbing the vital energy (and the struggle going on inside us) instead of dispersing (projecting) the same on others, we transmute the energy from literal (matter) to nonliteral (spirit), as we Are Living Light (Nonego), and always have been! 

One of the difficulties in following this path is that others see you as being selfish, not just self-centered. And, of course, you are. But so are they. But they are playing an image game (sensory perception), and wanting to believe that they are above the image, superior to it in fact (especially if the image is selfish, sinful or hypocritical), they will attack that reflection seen in the mirror of their own mind but cast in the shadow-body of the other person. Thus they are really attacking themselves.

This is why so many in religion/politics fall from grace after selling themselves on the notion that they are above the image. What is needed however is to see (live) through the image, and absorbing the energy (and thus transmuting it from Within), find release from one’s own self-containment. Like a bad habit, it is not enough just to change the habit, you need to transform yourself in the process so that you don’t again fall back into the past. And, of course, this is not possible unless you are willing to go through the process! But so many FEAR the image of looking bad or guilty. Indeed, they FEAR LIFE!

So I repeat: we are not above the image, literally speaking. But, as understanding Awareness (Nonliteral Perspective), we are through the image, being the Living Process (Word) that Is right Here, right Now! Some refer to this as the Logos or Christ Principal that Is Within us and Is Us, Ourself as a Whole (One). Thus the character Jesus in the gospel story points the Way (the Way of the cross) and fulfills the Principal through his own existence on earth. He lives totally in (through) the moment! He breathes the Space (Openess) and Is the Space (Spirit), Ourself as a Whole (Christ Jesus/God in man or the Son of man).

But for this to be possible one must first absorb the ego, and realizing that it’s only an image (a projection of the mind and containment of the energy that is life), release the same from the conscious hold we enforce on it, that is, on ourselves! And this cannot come to pass if we still believe that we are above or superior to the image,  that is, if we continue to pretend life, living the image instead of living Life directly and totally. Ultimately, there is really only one meditation, or attunement, and that’s living/being meditation, living/being the attunement that Is right Here, right Now! Because if this isn’t you, if you are not living/being Such, then Suchness isn’t happening…and you are still pretending!

Therefore, if one is not willing to be selfish and confront, penetrate, understand, and by that understanding Awareness (spiritual discernment, that is, Spirit discerning), resolve that attachment to and conflict with the contraries of his own human nature, then one continues to deny Who and what we really Are: the Light-Conscious Energy/Living truth, Word, Process, Principal that Is Liberation itself, Ourself as a Whole! Thus the soul purpose of our lives is to overcome the FEAR OF LIFE by living Jesus!

Ruination

Modern culture is in retreat, becoming regressive. Like a “delayed adolescent”, we the people are trying to escape ourselves, refusing to accept living responsibility for our individual and collective behavior. Consequently, as “selfoholics”, we are opening wide the door that leads to the extremism of a “totalitarian state” and our own corruption.

With Obama and the “far-left mob” having taken control of the federal government in Washington, we are now witnessing the biggest power grab in American history. Their own version of “bread and circus” (the economy and the media) daily distracts the American people from the bureaucratic corruption being practiced by these ”progressive gangsters” in the name of “stimulus packages” and “political correctness”, supposedly to save the economy from the greed and mismanagement which they, along with many conservatives, helped to bring about! And to disguise the fact, these so-called liberals (the original meaning of the term liberal has now been completely obscured by the secular progressive movement) are writing legislation that tries to buy the people off with token compliments of “bread”, just so the pleasants won’t look too closely at all the graft being baked by the “new Bolsheviks” in the legislative ovens of big government, as well as, attack in the media “circus” anyone who voices opposing views or criticizes their policies. They have learned that a concentrated policy of demonizing the opposition really works in today’s media, as it is the packaging and the presentation of the lies and distortions in order to “sell the product”–and not the substance of the product–that sells in today’s “image conscious society”, and thus carries the greater influence with the masses. Indeed, in order to promote their political bias, the national media plays and markets an “image game” which, by its very nature, both distorts actuality and is basically dishonest.

Soon, if Obama, like Caesar, becomes the “godfather” of contemporary politics, he will be able to make the American people offers that they cannot refuse, that is, if they want to survive in a corrupt world? The far-left mob,  by perfecting the tactics of intimitation and personal threats, will control everything and everyone, and the people will jump whenever called upon in order to receive their “survival fix”. In return, the people will become “family” (far-left democrats) in order to cast their votes for the “right politicans”, and will owe their souls to the “mob”, or they will find themselves demonized and persecuted to death. The tyranny of modern American fascism, daily reinforced throughtout the culture by injections of greed and guilt, and particularly in the media with scenes of hate mongering, will show no mercy for unbelievers.

And the people, being patterns of behavior, as we are, will suffer all this because those very patterns reflect the cultural programing (both liberal and conservative) that has been reinforcing on them the sense of “victimization” for years, even generations. And no one can escape oneself! Add to that the common fear of confronting the truth about ourselves (who wants to believe that we are not who we think we are) and you have the pattern for living in a constant denial of the human condition as it is. Thus the work of the political spinners (victimizers) is practically done for them, and they will not waste any opportunity, not even a national crisis, to feed their gratification.  

ondeed, this practice becomes even easier when you consider that so-called education in America has been “dumbing” our children for years. It’s not about what our kids need to know in order to grow up and stand on their own two feet, it’s about strengthening the teacher’s union, because they vote ”democrat” for the most part, and secular progressive politics must come first with the current administration in Washington because that is POWER! So for years now the so-called liberal educators in America have been politicalizing our children instead of properly educating them: education, along with the media, are the two best means of indoctrinating the young in the ideology of  a far-left version of liberalism and big government.

So, in a culture of obsessive-addictive (compulsive) materialism and egoism, reflected in both liberal and conservative political policies, people turn in on themselves becoming selfoholics: escaping into self-indulgence, arrogance, irresponsibility and immorality. Truth, or facts, becomes irrelevant, the ideology is all-important because with ideology as an end in itself, we not only get and reinforce our programed (false) identity, but receive our “survival fix” as well, thus denying the very behavior that is victimizing us! Yet, like an alcoholic or drug addict, this compulsive and self-destructive behavior, the pattern of our life, eventually “bottoms out”, as it must, having corrupted the “body” of our life. For we, as a collective entity (modern culture), in rationalizing, justifying and legalizing regressive behavior (secular progressive behavior), are seeking oblivion! And if we continue on this course, like a photograph of Berlin in the final days of World War 2, our lot will be RUINATION. And we have only ourselves to blame.

America Lost!

With the administration of President Barack Obama, we are witnessing right before our very eyes the institutional and methodical dismantling of America, and possibly the rest of the world as well. For this false messiah won’t be satisfied until the whole planet reflects his glorious vision, which is in actuality extreme naivete and willful ignorance.

Fundamentally speaking, the domestic and foreign policies of Obama are an abomination before God! He is clearly an anti-christ, and his secular progressive philosophy self-indulgent, arrogant, irresponsible and immoral, reflecting the “delayed adolescence” of the age and culture in which he was born and raised. The man lives in “lala” land, a world created by his own ego-satan, which must  be controlled by the far-left media and government, or so he is going his damnest to facilitate, and is totally disconnected to the actual world and what is going on there. He will even use the power of the US Presidency to persuade other nations to fall in line with his glorious vision, and is arrogant enough to believe in his own spin and propaganda that it is his destiny to reshape the world in his own image.  

But the regressive behavior of Obama and the “far-left mob” is hateful and vengeful toward anyone who represents to them the authority and responsibility of virtuous conduct, as such brings up in their souls the selfish motives and slick hypocrisy characterizing their true behavior. Behavior which they still feel the need to disguise to themselves, as well as to others, in order “to sell the product”, as they play an “image game” with their lives: the actual world is far too scary for their protectionist minds.

Thus explains their instant hostility and need to demonize anyone who they consider to be the enemy. Like vampires, they experience a “psychic fit” when confronted by the “cross” of natural and spiritual attitudes and values, and they immediately want to destroy those persons who reflect back to them, like a mirror, their own self-centered and self-created guilt. Indeed, they cannot be happy unless everyone else behaves as they do, and thus the need to manipulate, control and exploit the countryside, and everyone on it, to appease the guilt.

Their method becomes tyranny, as this is what they do to themselves psychologically, using political correctness and personal threats to control the masses, and when that no longer works, they will use force of arms. It is only a matter of time before the first leads to the second, as others will surely rebel at some point once they feel the sting of these “new Bolsheviks”. However, in the process, Obama will lead himself and all who follow him into oblivion, as the self-destructive behavior of secular progressism leads to its own collective self-undoing…America Lost!

Love God, And let The Pieces Fall As They May

Whatever happens in this world, love God, and let the pieces fall as they may. For with the coming of Barack Obama and the undoing of America, comes the undoing of the rest of the world as well. Obama is indeed an agent of change, and the change he is bringing to America and the world, if successful, will institute the disillusionment, despair and death of the so-called”free world.” And, as mankind continues to turn in on himself, and modern culture being out of control, collaspes from the structural weight of its own self-indulgence, arrogance, irresponsibility and immorality, millions will suffer the dark fate of their own protectionism, materialism and egoism, and its excessive-addictive (compulsive) behavior. Wars and violent conflicts will break out across the planet in an ugly struggle to survive and conquer the poverty of life at any cost. No singular nation will be strong enough to police the chaos and the carnage.

But, as always is the case with the struggle for freedom, some who still believe in liberty over tyranny, will not accept the ”rule” of terrorists and far-left fascists lying down. Israel, for one, will put up a gallant fight against all who would devour it. And even in America, many will band together in various concerns to battle the new fascism that wants to control the world. However, violence only begets more violence, and the terrible price paid for this destructive behavior will be more death. Yet, even when tyrants appear to be winning, they are losing; like the Nazis, their own hatred, violence and collectively destructive behavior will destroy them in the end. Even so, in the end the world, as we now know it, will perish–and man will have to begin again. Maybe, after the pain of rediscovering ourself,  in a new form and vibration of existence, sharing a new perspective? Indeed, let us pray!

The dinasaur must have thought he was a big deal at one time? And that he would last forever? But the dinasaur was only a phase in the evolution of life on this planet–and so is man! The truth is, we are spirit, not flesh. The material world is Maya (illusion), not reality. And Life cannot die, or go extinct, for Life Is Spirit/God and therefore Eternal. Only death dies, that is, the image of life: what has a beginning and an ending. So mankind has turned in on himself and eventually must face his true Nature, That which is his life, his spirit, even his God. Such is the purpose for creation: to know ourself as a Whole, to Be the Realization (Revelation) wholly Within Ourself (Nonliteral Perspective), knowing the other, the matter, to be only our shadow and reflection in the mirror.

Whatever happens in this world, love God, and let the pieces fall as they may. Turn your life completely over to God, our innermost Being, and trust our real Self, which is Selfless, to show the Way Within. Turn every thought, every emotion, every thing-event inward, and waiting patiently and obediently in an attitude of nonattachment and holy indifference, allow our innermost Being to answer the moment, to resolve the obstacle in our mind (world), whatever it may be.

As ego/personalities, we only undo ourselves in the end, for like the dream self, we are only projections of the mind, and have no lasting existence. In the end we become as if we never were. But, as nonego/spiritualities, we Are wholly in God, and remain Life Ourself! Life in Life, so to speak.  So don’t worry about how the pieces will fall; they fall for God! And as our innermost Being Is All, we Are the Love that Is Life itself.

A Spiritual Insight

Spirit (Comforter) has been showing me, at a deeper level than before, that what I often still think of as myself is an illusion. My god, ego runs deep! It seems like a bottomless pit! Yet the Way to Depth is Compassion: the more compassion that is me, the deeper I see.  

It is a misconception to blame others for anything; we only do a reverse number on ourselves. The world (ego) is imperfect (partial), and always will be by itself (ego-centered). But we are really Nonego, the Totality of ego, and Being wholly Within Ourself, Are Nonliteral, purely Spiritual, as nothing remains centered outside the Totality of Being. Therefore Such Is the innermost Being of all that is. Thus, to the degree that we confront, penetrate, understand, and by that understanding Awareness (Spirit discerning),  resolve the attachment to and conflict with our own separate identity, we Are Free!

This psychological process, which I call the “Way of the cross”, was taught as far back as to the beginnings of ancient Egypt, and thus is older than the stories in the Old Testament of the Bible. And it was understood, even back then, that we are all potentially Christ Jesus, called in the Osiris cult the “Double Horus” or God in man.

The character of Jesus in the gospel story symbolizes the need for each of us to come Alive in Spirit (Christ/Horus), and fulfill this living process through our own existence on earth, entering fully Into Self  (Intuself), Intuconsciousness, Into the Oneness (Wholeness/Totality of Being) that we Are. In this sense, we die for the sins of the world (mankind), that is, to our own collective ego. Only then does the outside world mirror the inside Reality (Nonego) that Is our true Nature and innermost Being.

I Am And We Are

I am in you and you are in me…

and we Are in ourself as a Whole.

Life Is One…

Nonliteral, purely Spiritual.

 

If you want to know who and what I am,

you first need to know who and what you are,

as understanding Awareness remains as a Whole

the essential Quality that we Are.

 

Such is therefore wholly Within us and Is Us,

even our Lord and innermost Being:

the invisible Presence/Andro Cosmic Peace

Intuconsciously Streaming

without departing from right Here, right Now!

 

This innate knowing or spirit discerning,

in being nonliteral, purely spiritual,

is not a how-to exercise but the Way of.

 

Thus being witness to, and a messenger of,

the Living Principal and Potential that Rests In all of us,

I am not your guru, master or teacher;

I do not belong to any official group or institutional church;

I do not follow any political spin or cultural programing…

nor believe in any arbitrary system or control.

 

I am living religion/meditation/faith/life/God;

and so would you if only you knew

Who and what you Are…

that I Am…that God Is.

 

For this Living Knowledge of which I speak Is Us,

and the true Way of the cross…Living (Christ) Jesus.

It Is Not You

The universe is out there, it is not you.

Things, being perceived partially,

just are what they are…

they are not you;

thus in not taking things personally,

you remain whole.

 

Know whatever happens, it is not you.

Events, being based in what went before,

just occur as they do…

they are not you;

thus in not getting carried away by events of the day,

you remain here and now.

 

Allow whatever to follow its own course, it is not you.

Thing-events, by their very nature,

just behave as they will…

they are not you;

thus in not interfering with thing-events in the future,

you remain still.

 

Leave the world outside alone, it is not you.

Images, forms, concepts by themselves are empty

and have no core….

they are not you;

thus in not holding onto images, forms, concepts for security,

you remain free.

 

Know when all is seen thru, there is only You,

the pure Intelligence that we Are.

Images, forms, concepts are just projections of the ego…

they are not you;

thus in not identifying with the ego,

you remain ourself as a Whole.

Myth

 

O, how we humans will believe in and cherish a myth, a mere concept, as if our identity is sustained by holding onto a sacred object, only possessing in the end, in the mind, our own emptiness.

O, how we humans will chase after and attempt to collar a myth, a mere image, as if our identity is sustained by lusting for an attractive object, pursuing and, maybe, capturing, in the end our own loneliness.

O, how we humans will see and support a popular myth, a mere perception, as if our identity is sustained by projecting on the screen of our mind a favorite object, only idolizing in the end our own nothingness.

O, how we humans will rationalize and justify hostile behavior for the sake of ideology, a mere myth, as if our identity is sustained by doing violence to another object, only making war in the end on our own consciousness.

O, what fools we humans be!

Perpetual Madness

 

When someone says, “The world is mad”, one’s really talking about the human race, about us, in effect, saying, “we are mad!” But, of course, no one wants to admit this, that we are the problem, the only problem: that is to say, the world only mirrors us.

For example, if we see evil in another, is not that evil also in us? The image of it being in the mind a reflection of our own consciousness standing there in the guise of another? How else could we see it, the evil? And, more importantly, ever know it, not to mention, ever resolve it, if the evil is not in us as in the other?

We are the patterns of our behavior; maintaining these foundations is what forms our character. And because most of us take the physical body, with its self-centeredness (ego), to be the center of awareness, everything we do, think or feel this moment goes out from there; which is to say, it all starts with us…and returns to us by way of the other.

Indeed, from childhood we have reinforced these patterns and the character that has become us, both having been made instinctual, seemingly natural. But, in getting caught up in the conceptual sensation of this moment we don’t see through that, as most of us only see the object image, thing-event before us–and believe it all starts from there. Thus if it’s evil that we see, then the evil must be the other, but not me!

Our senses work fine, but they are partial, housed in the body/mind, and we remain blind to their entrapment, even to the conceptual sensation that we think of as us; and thus having become dependent on things “out there”, we fail to recognize the hidden component of our own complicity in the matter.

Sometimes, it seems as if there’s a demon in the air, or in us, who makes crazy things happen, as if to plague us or just frustrate us to the core. And we wish evermore he would just stop! Stop and be still, becoming totally aware of our own reflection (projection) in the mirror that’s the other, and what it’s doing to ourself, to our world; for it’s not what happens in the world but how we respond in kind that reveals our own complicity in the matter.

So, if the world is mad, and it is, it’s because the pattern of our collective behavior is madness, perpetual madness, and like perpetual motion, will never cease…until we see through the demon (ego-satan) that’s us, and becoming fully aware, resolve our own complicity in the matter.

Intubeing

We start out thinking the thought and meditating on the matter. But, as we continue to mature in the living process of our meditation (inward penetration), we eventually drop the thought (image) and discover we are now living through the thought, being the very quality (understanding Awareness) of the experience, nonliterally speaking. For we no longer need to think of ourselves separately or make a personal claim on the image/form/concept–as we are Being first rather than thinking or doing first!

Just Being, or Intubeing, therefore, Is the Center (Ground) of our Awareness, not the conceptualization of ourself as a Whole, but the understanding Awareness in itself, in ourself as a Whole (Nonthingness). Thus it may be said: we Are what We See…for there’s no it in just Being, only Us, You, Me, God as a Whole! We See (Intusee) through everything from Within ourself and As Ourself (Nonliteral Perspective), not with the material senses (literal perspective), though the senses are still there, as the mind must continue to conceptualize. That’s its nature.

Such, then, Is true Enlightenment, and doesn’t call attention to itself. Suchness doesn’t need to: Suchness just Is! Is everywhere nonliterally speaking, but nowhere literally speaking. Ego/personality has nothing to do with Suchness, accept, in psychologically dying to itself, as the less there is of the part the more there is of the Whole. This is what the Way of the cross is all about. It’s the ego/personality that dies on the cross and the Nonego (Divine Spirit) that Lives (resurrection)–as Suchness always will–for Life as a Whole (Intulife) can never die, only death (image/thought/form) dies.

Thus we are living Jesus, the Way of the cross: that is, we consciously confront, penetrate, understand, and by that understanding (spiritual discernment), resolve every attachment to and conflict with the thing-events of the day, of our ego. This is what we mean by living meditation/religion/faith/life/God. All that we are Aware of comes from Within, from Who and what we conceptualize as God (Ourself as a Whole)–but which is not the concept. We know this when we drop the concept and the watcher (ego) and am just Being, Intubeing. At this point all words/thoughts/images become the Silence (Oneness/Wholeness/Nonthingness).

The Nonliteral Perspective

When we selflessly Realize that we Are pure Energy-Consciousness itself (Ourself as a Whole) and not the form or conceptualization the Energy-Consciousness (Spirit) takes (like the reflector standing in front of a mirror knows he is the center of awareness, not his reflection in the mirror), we are seeing/being (from Within) the Nonliteral Perspective. That is to say, the reflection is ourself in the world (separate entity in space), the Reflector Is Ourself through the world or ego, through the image/conceptualization, and thus remains the Totality of Being (Wholeness/Intuconsciousness): selfless, formless, nonattached, holy indifferent, the pure Intelligence (Light-Conscious Energy) that Is, whereas the former, like a shadow, is only the partiality of being (body/personality), remaining outside the Whole.

Thus intuconsciously Realizing as the Nonliteral Perspective, we see our object self as a living discipline who daily confronts, penetrates, understands the subject matter from Within and thereby resolves any attachment to, and conflict with, the form or consceptualization outside. In this way (the Way of the cross) we live the Principal of Life (the Word), the Divinity in man (Christ Jesus/Buddha/Krishna, etc), as Such Is the Sacred Way (Tao) of all life.

Yet, in writing about Such one can only offer words (concepts), not the genuine article (Nonarticle/Quality) itself (Ourself as a Whole). No one can…as each of us needs to discover Suchness Within ourselves and reflect the Same to the outside world. All forms, even our thoughts and emotions, are energies–but we Are the Energy-Consciousness Ourself (Nonego), the Totality of Being (God/Goddess) that Is. The mental discrimination involved leads one to the liberation of the spirit from materialism, from any attachment to or conflict with the world outside, even from those thoughts and emotions considered our own (ego).

Thus living religion/meditation/faith/life/God is the only true religion/meditation/faith/life/God. Because if one is not living/being Suchness then one does not know Such; Suchness is not happening in ourself and As Ourself. But, in living/being totally, we Are the Nonliteral Perspective (Nonsensory Perception), Christ Jesus (God in man), the Word or Son (Life Principal) of God.

The Uncarved Block

 

When I see myself on the outside, that is to say, on this side of eternity, I am a physical body standing tall, seemingly secure–though limited by its own genetic structure.

Now, I can see this because the body has an identity, and experiences the same as a conceptual sensation or personality who, having been conceived in isolation, holds onto that structure for dear life–as the center of awareness (self)–believing, as he does, that this same object image in space and literal point of concentration in mind is his life. Indeed, even knowing full well that with the ravages of time both his body and personality are–by virtue of their psychogenetic structure–destined for the grave, he still identifies with the same.

Yet, as spirit,  I am content. For I am not (as a Whole) the body nor the personality, neither the emotion nor the thought, yet these concepts are the means by which I give myself to the One who Lives through every moment we breathe–as Such Is the essential Quality, actually the Nonessentiality/Intuconscious Space (Spirit) by which we come Into Life–and in whose Presence we may breathe our life as the Uncarved Block (our innermost Being).

Therefore in the psychological event of penetrating spirit, I think but I am not the thought, I feel but I am not the emotion; but I am that pure Energy-Consciousness in ourself as a Whole, the innate Light and Nonliteral Perspective who receives Into Self the gift that is Before all…and that Is All!

Thus first Seeing/just Being, my form is formless, myself selfless;  I am Nonthing: that is, Intuseeing, I Move without literally watching myself moving. For the Totality of Being (Intubeing) is not the thing or concept, not outside, and therefore Rests not on this side of eternity…but Inside all concepts, Wuthin every phenomenon, even the body and the personality.

So, when I See (live) through myself from the Inside, from Eternity, from right Here, right Now, which has no sides, no quarrels–and finding nothing to contend about–Speaks the Truth and Principal of Life, it follows: I am and we are and everything is the Uncarved Block! The One who Lives through every moment we breathe, the Intuself or Nonthingness who first Sees through me, yea–through everything–from Within and as a Whole.

My ego tries to think of That but cannot; it tries to experience That but cannot, so it consciously accepts this unknowing as a fact and surrenders the thought, even the attempt to know what the body and the personality cannot. And in so doing (nondoing), that is to say, in just Being, I give myself, my all, to the One who Lives Before (through) every moment we breathe, and Rests Complete in Ourself as a Whole…as the Uncarved Block.

To Know

The desire to know is at the very heart of living. And to know what something means, especially at its Core, is to enter fully into the Spirit behind (Within) our concept of the thing known and live that as ourself, even ourself as a Whole. Thus we are seeing (intuseeing) the thing (nonthing) from Within ourself (through the ego) and As Ourself (Nonego/God). For the Essential Quality (Nonessentiality) of anything is that understanding Awareness In us which shines through the subject matter, like the Sun shining through a cloud…but shining from Within the cloud (Nonliterally)! So Rests that Intustate of Being in ourself and as a Whole, the Kingdom (Continuum) of God (Nonliteral Perspective). Such Is the “potential” in all of us.

Therefore, to live Life (living Jesus) is to Be the very Quality of what we See (Intusee): to Know whatever from Within its cover (form) as we know ourself as a Whole. Such Living Knowledge, then, is fullproof–as we Are Being the proof–seeing in God as God Sees Himself (Ourself). There’s no demonstration (manipulation) of any kind necessary. There’s no it to manipulate, control and exploit, no ego that needs to be demonstrated (fed). The Reality (Absolute relativity) is not outside us (the other) but Within us and Is our innermost Being (Nonliteral Perspective)! All we have to do is breathe the Space (Spirit), speak (live) the Word/ Principal of Life, and we Are living/being Life, Living (Christ) Jesus.

What Does Man Actually Know About Himself?

Very little.

Socrates said that an unexamined life is a life not worth living, but that’s just the life most if us today choose to live! After all, who really wants to grow up if one doesn’t have to, if culture (our parents/authorities) no longer requires it? But maturing emotionally and psychologically means taking responsibility for your behavior, and how can you do that if you don’t first examine what you are being responsible for? Much easier to just have someone you identify with (politicans/experts/tv commentators/celebrities or, maybe, a book) tell you what you already want to hear, and by reinforcing your ego, in this case–your delayed adolescence–go about the business of escaping the human condition as it is. That way you never have to consciously accept, let alone actually confront, the attachment to and conflict with the matter (behavior) in and of yourself…and see through it.

Thus man, while remaining in a state of denial, can never know himself actually, let alone completely, because that would require a conscious withdrawal from self-gratification as an end–ego’s hold on him (us)–and by choosing to take the heat (cross) of ego’s fire (our life’s energy), absorb, examine and thus automatically transmute the same from within himself (being one with the energy instead of projecting onto, and forcing, it on each other). Thus would man still the mind, breathe the space (spirit) and lay to Rest his (our) collective self-victimization.

I breathe the Space

and I am the Space…

the Whole Consciousness.

 

I think, but I am Before the thought;

I feel, but I am Before the emotion;

I exist, but I am Nonexistence first,

existence being my shadow, my conceptualization.

 

As a person, then,

I know that I don’t know;

yet, with the conceptualization,

I may see thru my own shadow

Into Space, even as I am the Space…

the understanding Awareness.

 

The Space Is everywhere and everything,

yet the Space is nowhere and nothing:

the Space Is full–not apart–

and thus being neither this or that,

you and me share the same Nonidentity,

as light and shadow are the same living Energy.

 

There’s only the Space, Intuconscious Space,

ourself as a Whole Consciousness

and understanding Awareness;

thus we are the only universe that really Moves,

the only Knowing that just Is…

for even as the clouds pass in the sky,

we, as Spirit, remain constant in the Here and Now.

Where Is Being?

Being in itself (ourself) and as a Whole Is Before experiencing (duality/sensory perception/ego). For in knowing the Whole (the One) to be greater than the part, is not the Whole of you More (Before) than any image or concept of yourself? As Consciousness is greater than any content of consciousness, Mind greater than any projection/sensation of mind, Truth greater than any context of truth, Space (Spirit) greater than any object in and of space, the unified Field greater than any particle-wave in and of the field.

The Totality of Being (Intubeing) Is without beginning or ending and thus, like an uncarved Block, not outside of us–but wholly Within (everywhere and nowhere)–Being Nonliteral, purely Spiritual (Nonego). So Breathes our innermost Being…who just Is.

Are We Simply Our Experiences Or Is There A Nonactual Essence Of Self Untouched By External Events?

The ultimate We Is the basic, pure Intelligence (Center/Ground of Awareness) that Nonexists (existence as a Whole) Before (through) duality, sensory perception and ego. Such just Is…Is the Totality of Being (Intubeing): the Form that is Formless, the Self that is Selfless, the Creator of the universe, yet who is not the universe, literally speaking. Therefore Suchness is not any man in the sky or projection/sensation of the mind–but mind, sound, light, space, consciousness (or whatever name you prefer) in Ourself as a Whole.

And Suchness Is what Suchness Sees/Lives/Breathes. Thus, as the ultimate Center of Being Is wholly Within ourself, to know Such is to enter fully Into Being, Into ourself as a Whole (understanding Awareness), and See/Live/Breathe Suchness through whatever is conceptualized or experienced. Therefore, Intubeing Rests Before both the mental and material conceptualization (form) of being, Before (through) the body/personality or ego.  Suchness requires the individual psyche (soul) to give up the attachment to its own image life (separate existence) out of love for Such (God) that one may selflessly Realize our innermost Being. This is the soul-purpose for human existence: to know Who and what We Are.

The path is the Way of the cross: the cross is our own psyche, and the Way is right through the psyche (soul)! Thus we are the means and We Are the goal, so to speak. The beginning and the ending of all things. But the ultimate We Is even Before that.

So, by remaining literal-minded we can never really know Before that, but by living Jesus, that is, by consciously confronting, penetrating, understanding, and by that understanding (spiritual discernment), resolving our psyches of their attachment to and conflict with ant thing-event of the day, we may fulfill the Way through our own individual existences on this earth. Therefore the true gospel is a living gospel, not a particular historical event (or information) happening only to a particular person in the past. Living (Christ) Jesus, the Principal of LIfe (the Word/ Son of God), is potentially In (through) each one of us, and Is Ourself as a Whole!

the One we call God,

the Living Light who embraces you

The Principal Of Life

 

We are not the thought

but the Being behind the thought;

We are not the form

but the Nonthingness out of which the form

becomes manifest;

We are not the past moment

but the Now which Is ever-present;

We are not the coming event

but the Life which remains in Ourself constant.

 

The world is not apart from Us

but an extension of Us,

like a reflection in the mirror

or shadow on the wall.

 

Thus in just Being the Sole Reflector

and Living Light Within all,

We Are the Prinicipal of Life…

and light up Ourself in the innate knowing

that remains one with man’s very Being.

Do You Agree That True Insight, Or Vision, Comes From Within?

Yes. Ultimately we Are what We See; there’s no separation with interior Vision (Nonliteral Perception). But before we can realize this we need to unlock in our hearts the secret to living the spiritual life: Change the way in which you see and you will change what you see, thus transforming ourself.

This is not just a matter of asking the right questions, or seeing the subject matter from another person’s viewpoint, but seeing (understanding) all thing-events as they are from Within, from the basic Intelligence (Spirit/God) that Is already There through us, Resting even Before we (as personalities) think about it. Such pure Intelligence/essential Quality (Nonessentiality), then, is our true (Complete) Self — who Is Selfless–and therefore the pure Ground (Center) of our understanding Awareness (Intuconsciousness).

Thus it is written that the Kingdom of God Is Within…for when we cease to identify with the ego/personality and see (live) life as a Whole or uncarved Block, we Are what We See (Totality of Being), even as Nonsensory Perception/interior Vision, Intubeing the Heart of Awareness, Rests Within us (us, in this case, meaning ego) and As Us (meaning Nonego)!

The Media Of Man’s Mind

There’s the actual world (universe) and there’s the media of man’s mind: that is to say, what actually happens, and having happened, how the thing-event is perceived and packaged by the mind of man who, being stuck in time and space, on the thing-event–and thus influenced by his own partial experience–sees the subject matter as an extension of himself (ego). It also follows that in seeking to project his own view onto the same and thereby receive instant gratification, and hopefully, reinforcement from others, man sells himself on his mind’s presentation (media) as the way it is (reality).

But with the universe everything just is what it is: a rock is a rock, a flower is a flower, a bear is a bear, a flowing stream flows, a growing child grows, every action is known by the pattern of its behavior; there’s no need to make more of it than that.

Thus the universe doesn’t project…doesn’t project its own preconceptions onto anything; doesn’t spin and package the thing-event to capture the ratings and make a profit, or, maybe, serve some political agenda. Nor will the universe make a personal claim or pronounce a moral judgment on the article, calling it mine or yours, good or bad, right or wrong, virtuous or sinful, that is, whatever it needs the article to be in order to hold on to its own belief. Instead, the universe remains open-minded and holy indifferent, so to speak, on every issue…as the thing-event and its pattern of behavior already is what it is.

But the mind of man, the human material condition, won’t leave it at that; he can’t: ego, being sensory, must have its gratification…and man, as ego, being self-centered, must have his cause! Therefore things can’t remain just what they are.

So, it may be said: there’s the actual happening and there’s the legend; the thing-event in itself and the media event or myth that follows; this very moment right now and man’s concept of it after; the historical fact and the latest interpretation (correction) of the same; the unassuming spontaneity and the glorified lie, bias or distortion that is believed in; the depth of feeling/sense of being and the popular entertainment/packaged experience that’s produced; the world as it is (actuality) and what the mind and culture of man wants it to be (escapism).

The problem is: a thing-event can’t be taken out of the past and relived, not in actuality: what has gone by in time can’t be recaptured. So, no matter how correct the information on the subject is, there’s always the principle of uncertainty at play; and that plays havoc with man’s mind, making him even more insecure, and more determined to pretend to himself that he knows…that his interpretation of the facts is the right one. Thus man wants things to be the way he wants them to be, that way man can rest comfortably in his delusion of certainty…in his ego! Man can play God and be absolute, omnipotent! But again, what has gone by in time can’t be recaptured; for though patterns of behavior can be repeated, the initial events themselves are unique–and remain only as snapshots of the mind.

Thus any excursion by the discursive mind into interpretation is an exercise (deviation or digression) in myth making. Indeed, what is called the world, even the phenomenal universe, in being registered by the physical (partial) senses–but later captured and confined in concepts (abstractions)–is not the world as it actually is but as man sees it through the media of his own mind…and its ego! Even a literal interpretation of history, the Bible or the universe itself (science) is at best a distortion, and at worst a lie. It is only a projection of the discursive mind, not the actual thing-event. And never can be!

Know, then, it’s the literal perspective that we have come into the world to outgrow. Like childhood, the literal perspective represents levels, grades or phases of development (experience) in man that we must enter into and graduate from if we are to mature spiritually and become enlightened adults (intubeings). Thus the literal perspective (childhood)  isn’t the “goal” of creation but only a means to it.

When we are a child our world is a child’s world: we see it as a child (sensory perception), as being partial, relative, subjective, temporal. Thus we are caught up in the media of man’s mind, and often being spooked (intimidated) by our own collective ego (satan), seek to escape from the heat of that phantom terror by denying who and what we just are; in other words, if our parents/teachers/authorities fail to school us in the ways and means of the world (ego), and through that into the Spirit and Principal of Life (God), of Ourself as a Whole, we will fail to take up our cross and consciously accept the living responsibility of daily confronting, penetrating, understanding, and by that understanding Awareness, resolving our own childishness (ignorance)! Therefore, no matter what position we attain in the world, in spirit we remain a child.

When we are adolescent our world is adolescence: we want to be an adult (enlightened) but are afraid of taking living responsibility for ourselves (stepping into the Light), so we get caught up in a struggle to discover, or bury, our true identity. That is, we remain too strong in our own pride and insecurity and its need to hold onto the object image of life–and to the cravings and goods that come with it–yet too weak in our living faith and understanding to drop the identification with the past (ego), with the image and personality we think of as ourself.

Thus we suppress the urge to “still the mind” and know ourself as spirit (nonego)–and by living an attitude of nonattachment and holy indifference toward all things–Be the love and compassion (openess) that flows freely through the image self. Instead, we cling to body/personality, wanting big daddy (the institution of culture/government/religion, etc) to take care of us. Therefore, no matter what position we attain in the world, in spirit we remain an adolescent.

But when we are an adult our world is adulthood (enlightenment): we see as an adult (nonsensory perception), as an intubeing, open, direct, total…we see (intusee) everything from Within us and As Us (God)! Even the media of man’s mind, like a reflection in the mirror, just is what it is; there’s no problem with it. We don’t take it for reality; we are not making any personal claims or moral judhments on others; we are not trying to rewrite history, the Bible or the universe, nor exploit the countryside and the people on it–or serve some ideological agenda in order to gain gratification and feed our ego. We intusee things as we Are, as We (God) Are Living/Being them, as everything Is–and having transcended both our childhood and our adolescence–we intusee life (everything) as a Whole, as an Adult! Now the media of man’s mind reflects the Whole (but is not itself the Whole), the innate Light, the Nonliteral Perspective and Totality of Being that Is Ourself. Therefore, no matter what position we attain in the world, in Spirit we remain Who and what we just Are!

Naming The Concept

Concepts are not reality, but they are, like reflections in a mirror, extensions of reality. These shadow-entities grab our attention and make us aware that there’s also light, even the light of understanding, that there’s something (Nonthingness) greater in us than shadows. Indeed, being hooked on the object image of life, man needs constant reminders to help him chart a course straight through his own dark psyche, transforming the ego/personality–and all the concepts (images) that go with it–into self (intuself/nonego), that is, into enlightenment, liberation, the Kingdom of God. Thus concepts are a necessary means of contemplation for the weary traveler in a world beset by many false trails: personal doubts, insecurities, fears, desires, denial, and, maybe, the biggest stumbling block of all, guilt.

Concepts, as precepts, help us to focus our mind on the very energy that the precept represents. Yet the energy (spirit) is not the thought but Before the thought (Being greater than), just as the light comes before the shadow–and is greater than the shadow–in fact projects it. But, nonliterally speaking, it may be said that the shadow is also the light (spirit), like a reflection in the mirror is an extension of the reflector. It’s just that, in the case of human personality, the reflection can’t see the reflector (nonpersonality) and thus doesn’t know it, doesn’t see Who and what we really Are (God). The reflection remains stuck on its own image/duality, sensory perception, ego, the literal perspective, and like a child, is still being manipulated, controlled and exploited by his own childhood (ignorance). Indeed, a child, while still a child, can’t see himself yet as an adult, or, to use another example, a mass of energy–while still centered in its mass–can’t know itself as pure energy. 

But when we see through the concept of whatever, even the thought of God, we automatically transmute the energy that is the thought into self (intuconsciousness), into the essential Quality that is already ourself as a Whole (Intubeing/Nonessentiality), annihilating any identification with the concept or object image. Thus the reflection, having died psychologically to itself as a separate entity in space (or mind), selflessly Realizes ourself as the Soul Reflector, that is, as the whole Space (Spirit) or Intuconscious Space (Energy-Consciousness): nonduality, nonsensory perception, nonego (intuself), the nonliteral perspective; and like an adult who sees, knows, lives by virtue of his adulthood, Rests in the understanding Awareness that Is the Totality of Being (God)!

Now, having come Aware, we may give witness to this through the writing and speaking of our understanding (gnosis), of our interior Vision, to others. But language is metaphor, not reality, and we can only do so in speaking by analogy. For what we are speaking of transcends human language! It is not the words themselves (nor the human speakers) that are the ultimate message (truth) but the living energy (spirit) that comes Before (through) the words (concepts), and cannot be contained by the words! Indeed, we really can’t speak of it directly at all. Being Nonliteral, Such Quality and Dimension of Perception Is greater than the thought; yet Suchness Is the very Life of all that can be known and lived. Suchness Is Life…Ourself as a Whole!

But, in order that we might communicate (suggest) Such to another we first need to give Suchness a name, though, interestingly, Suchness is itself a name, literally speaking. So we may call That which Is Before any name God, Jehovah, Christ, Holy Spirit, Light-Conscious (Living) Energy, Liberation, Truth, Love, Compassion, understanding Awareness, the Nonliteral Perspective, the Presence, the uncarved Block, the Tao, the Principal of Life, the Word, Allah, Inticonscious Space, Intuconsciousness, Intubeing, etc. Suchness has many names…but Suchness, Being Nonliteral, is not any of these names, though in and through these names Suchness Lives! And in and through these names we live and have our being, Intubeing! For Suchness and We and the Word Are One (Nonthingness) who Is awake, Alive, Aware in Suchness…in Ourself as a Whole!

So when we speak of God as Jehovah, for example, we are not speaking of another being that’s outside of ourself, up in the sky, perhaps, but of Suchness, our innermost Being, That which Is Before (Within) the name, concept, image or thing-event experienced with the senses, that is, experienced outside the Center (Wholeness) of Intubeing. Thus God, as a concept, may be said to be a deity, but remain as Suchness a nondeity. And thing-events, as concepts, may be said to be actual, but remain as Suchness nonactual.

So, too, in naming the concept, we don’t mean to suggest that the entity named is the essential qualuty (reality) but only that it is a means of entering into self, into being the very Suchness that all things Are (Absolute Relativity).

Who Are We? Is There An Essential You Or I?

 

Yes…but more an essential We rather than you or I. That is, We are the basic, pure Intelligence who Nonexists even Before the personality…and may be called the Intupersonality or Great Spirit. Yet, most of us identify with the personality, or ego,  as ourself and thus reinforce a split in consciousness or division in mind from that Whole Intelligence and understanding Awareness who Is our innermost Being (God).

Ego/personality is simply, but arbitrarily, our own conceptual point of view (literal perspective) or particular focal position (center) of concentration in physical space, and attached to the body, as it is, stands out as our primary object image of life (ego/projection); yet we are the Space (Spirit) in ourself and as a Whole, as the Whole Consciousness (One Adam) or Nonliteral Perspective. Even if we were to put aside our physical body and not think of ourself (as ego) at all…the basic Intelligence (Nonego) that we Are will still Be there (unstructured). Such pure Intelligence can never die or end–only the image or concept (form) it takes dies–having a beginning and an ending

to its literal perspective. And so death appears real to the personality, who mistakes the image for his life (being). 

But see through the personality, living totally in the moment, and our Center of Awareness Is the Intupersonality (everywhere and nowhere) or Nonliteral Perspective. This may also be called Living Life (Jesus) or the Resurrection of Life, as the Totality of Being (Intubeing) Is Before experiencing…even as pure Intelligence Rests Before (Within) the concept (form) of pure Intelligence.

Does The Evidence Of God’s Being Exist In Our Own Heart? Are We God?

God Is our innermost Being, the Totality of Being (Intubeing), Nonliteral, Nonsensory, Intupersonal, without attachment to and conflict with any thing-event, and therefore the ultimate Center (Ground) of Awareness (Nonliteral Perspective).

When we See through (understanding Awareness) our own personality or ego, thus putting to Rest our separate selfhood (the true crucifixion), we Are living God (Christ Jesus), the Divine in man, as you and we and God become (as they have always been) the same Essential Quality (Nonessentiality) or Spirit (Oneness/Wholeness). Remember, the Center Is Before (through) the thing-event, and not the thing-event, not anything mental or material.

It would be like a singular cell (concept) of the body (mind) coming into Full Body/Mind (Andro-Cosmic) Consciousness, in Essence, selflessly Realizing the Great Singularity (God) from Within. The cell (soul) would see (live) through all aspects of the Body/Mind Continuum as a Whole, intubeing the Body/Mind Ourself (Nonliteral), and not just a particular aspect (literal) of the Body/Mind. Or, to put this in another way, it would be like an object in space becoming Aware of the Space (Spirit) as a Whole: our understanding Awareness would penetrate all objects (concepts) in space (mind), as the Center would Be everywhere and nowhere. Such Awareness would Be Nonsensory, Being (Intubeing) the Subject-Object, Energy-Consciousness Continuum Ourself rather than a place or time or mental/material body outside ourself.

But Suchness can only be realized by confronting, penetrating, understanding, and by that understanding, resolving our split in consciousness (duality/sensory perception/ego) throught every moment we live. So, if we are not living/being whatever we don’t know whatever as ourself. The true Way of the cross, then, is a living cross who leads our soul Into Consciousness (Intubeing). This Is the true Resurrection, selflessly Realizing ourself (spirit) as the Totality of Being! Thus by fulfilling the Way of the cross through our own existence on earth, we don’t have–BUT ARE–understanding Awareness (Living Jesus), nonliterally speaking.

The Void Inside

Deep, dark void inside me…

I look directly into it

and the emptiness that I am penetrates me,

taking root in my brain as a concept,

tho’ still remaining empty.

 

Is this substance, then, only the nothingness that I am?

 

Is this seeming reality

only the shadows of my mind’s play

spun onto a dank consciousness who,

being contained by his own energy,

packages the images as products to be sold

to himself, the world outside?

 

So who and what is this void inside?

Shall I ever know?

Or is it all…projection? Only a partial view?

 

But what if I no longer contain my life’s energy?

If I let be, ceasing to hold on

to the energy that I am?

 

Yes, now I see thru the void inside

with the mind as a Whole…

and even as light penetrates darkness,

as fullness liquidates the emptiness,

as mindfulness permeates every thought,

I see the light, the living light that I am!

 

And the light isn’t just inside me…but Is all That I Am!

 

Still, without first looking directly into the void

and ceasing to hold on, letting Be,

I couldn’t know the Word

and Living Energy as Me!

I’m So Tired Of Running

I’m so tired of running,

of chasing shadows,

and, like being caught up in a dream,

of getting chased by one

fragment of my brain!

 

I’m so tired of running,

of being intimidated by that great spook called satan,

who would huff and buff and blow my house in

if I didn’t gratify his desire…

the lust to have his own way even at the expense of another.

 

I speak now of my own ego, the other,

the split in my consciousness, as in another,

who is the only enemy I’ll ever know–

even as I deny my nonself to make it so.

 

Still, with a little knowledge,

I may confront this ego-satan in my own family,

community, country and the world at large;

but in the end it always comes back to me,

to my own personality, psyche, soul,

duality and sensory perception…

back to the literal perspective, the ego,

and its fundamental interpretation.

 

Yes, back to the one I know–yet the one I constantly

try to escape from having any direct knowledge of–

as this would, for a certainty,

nail the very sense of self

to the cross of my own consciousness.

 

In the end, then, I can’t escape the other,

my own karma and pattern of behavior;

for what goes around comes around,

’til finally confronted and transformed,

I see thru the very concept of me and mine.

 

Indeed, this moment appears to be all there is,

but in diminishing the sense of time

rests moment’s Eternity, that is,

if I pychologically die to the partial me–

who ever seeks to flee the cross.

 

I’m so tired of running,

so very tired of chasing shadows…

and getting chased by that great spook called satan.

 

Let him blow my house in!

Like the samurai said in old Japan,

“A man’s fate is a man’s fate, life is an illusion.”

 

Indeed, this illusion appears to be all there is,

but in diminishing the ego lies moment’s Eternity,

the Sole reflector and Wholeness of humanity,

who waits for His temporal reflections to finally acknowledge

their Intuself, and by seeing thru the world at large,

stop running from, and being intimidated by,

anyone or anything outside the Whole.

 

O my God,

Now everything seems so very Still…

and the Stillness Is the whole of me;

I’m not running anymore!

Mankind Is Turning In On Himself

Mankind is turning in on himself (since most of us identify with the body/personality as the center of awareness)! Indeed, man’s own (collective) sense of selfhood (ego-satan), of being separate entities in space who are solidly fixed in mind, like individual blocks of stubborness (thus standing apart from God, the Totality of Being), is rapidly speeding forward, and thus out of control, at a very alarming rate, escalading from normal levels of neurotic behavior to extreme states of obsessive-addictive stupidity. Like a planetary “selfoholic”, mankind ever seeks by whatever means (legal or otherwise) to escape (deny) his present condition rather than confront it, and by so confronting, consciously accept that, at least for the present, there’s a global problem with “us”, man’s own functioning in this world (modern culture) as the human species, and that this “living crisis” needs his (our) full attention.

But mankind wants what he wants, and he wants it now! Like a child who has been spoiled by, or deprived of, parental authority, he can’t stop his craving for whatever (gratification), nor take personal responsibility for his regressive behavior. He lacks maturity, of course, but also a clear direction of where he’s going, and even where he’s been; yet worse still, having been raised in modern culture to do his own thing, even at the expense of others, he rejects the emotional stability (balance) that would allow him to discover within himself a state, even a collective state, of peace and healthy disposition that would manifest outwardly as a matter of character, kindness, generosity and a loving human nature, concerned about the welfare of others–though they may disagree with his own view of the world. But, lacking emotional and cultural stability (tolerance), he must gratify the willful behavior that he thinks, and has been led by culture to intellectually believe, is himself, his true identify. And, like a slave must obey his master, the man-child, only pretending to be an adult, seeks in every way he can to appease this self-created pressure (superego) that assails him, and by remaining in denial, arbitrarily projects his willfulness on others as on himself!

Yet mankind wants release from that pressure (energy), from what he believes is being leveled on him from outside, from events registered by his psyche as other than himself, and he wants it now! But his lack of self-discipline and personal integrity, being a form of self-indulgence, with underlining arrogance, only blinds and binds him to his own willful pattern of victimization even more. Thus he must continue to project onto–and then crave release from–whatever the icon is in his mind that unconsciously signifies his own manipulation, control and exploitation of himself (culture), thus rationalizing, justifying and legalizing, if possible, his own obsessive-addictive behavior (escapism/materialism/egoism) in the psychological process.

And so it is that those individuals who we like to think are responsible for making the rest of us feel guilty and insecure, conscious of our own emotional instability (and with the denial of the same, our own hypocrisy), must be made to pay the price! How dare they say it to our face, even oppress us with what they call the truth. It’s not the truth! I don’t believe in their truth! I don’t have to! So screw their truth! In fact, to achieve peace, these oppressors must be brought down, even destroyed, if necessary! They are evil incarnate, and would take away our freedom to pursue our own happiness, to live the life we choose–and live it in the way that pleases us. Good or bad, it’s our choice to make…our individual right! It’s o.k. to do whatever we want whenever we want to do it. Anyone who says otherwise is an oppressor, and should be attacked as such! So says the man-child among us.

Now there are those who are very clever with words. They write and pass laws and legislation, publish articles in books, magazines and newspapers, on computer blogs, host television and radio talk shows, agree to rules and contracts, and then, like a delayed adolescent, fail to live up to their responsibilities in the matter. That is, they say one thing and then do another, as they have no intention of following through on the matter. And they make it all so legal and politically correct! How very clever they are, hoodwinking the people as they do, not to mention, themselves. And the people just seem to take it! But, maybe, in exhibiting the Jekyll and Hyde Syndrome, that’s what they have been conditioned by culture to do since the cradle? Do you think?

The breakdown of parental and cultural authority has been going on for quite some time. Since the end of the second World War, culture has been expanding in self-indulgence but declining at the same rate in moral values. Wars have a way of doing that, of expanding our fear but diminishing our well-being, since in war winning is everything, and the enemy is evil incarnate and must be destroyed–at whatever cost to human lives and future generations. In war we must have our way. But when the war is over we can’t just go back to our previous lives and understandings, expecting nothing to have changed. We have changed! And now we want the good life…an extended escape (vacation) from having to take responsibility for combating other people’s madness (evil) in the world. No more reality. Let’s have fun! and fun! and more fun!

Those of us born just after the war, the “baby boomers”, have inherited the good life…and we have done so with a passion! The baby boomer generation may be aptly named “rebel without a cause”, for, like the James Dean character in the movie, we haven’t a clue about what is really going on with us. So we just react, and being emotional,  if the feeling is distressful, rebel, and having done so, begin rationalizing, justifying and legalizing, if possible, our willful behavior. Being clever with words, we write books, give seminars, lectures, take opinion polls, film documentaries, or, to entertain the masses, docudramas, about our world (and its past) as we see it now. We organize agency after agency that supposed to take responsibility for, and deal with, what we see–and often don’t like–so we “cut and run” from our moral obligation here, and even teach in our schools and universities that it’s o.k. to disregard the facts and believe what we want to believe, breaking the law if we must, in order to escape that pressure (the energy of living) we feel is oppressing us.

But that pressure we feel is us! It exists because we are projecting it on ourself…on each other! So don’t blame the facts, the law, the police, the military, our parents, politicans or authority in general! Culture is only an extension of us…of what we have made of it. If we feel oppressed by culture, it’s because we are using culture to oppress ourself! But, to escape bearing any personal responsibility for this victimization, we project the mind’s manufactured image of it (along with our guilt) on others, and then blame them for it! How convenient it is for some of us, those (extremists) who have the money, power and position, or perpetual madness, to play this image game that feeds on human emotion and insecurity, leading to more hostility, hatred and violence. In a world driven by desire, fear and death, and the denial of the same, we live the image, the product we sell ourselves on, playing a media game with our lives. And every time someone is made to pay (suffer) for the deceit and hypocrisy in ourself that comes about with the struggle to get “gratification”, it’s as if we keep nailing Jesus to the cross!

Mankind is turning in on himself (ourself). But why is this happening? It’s not enough to say that man was born to suffer. Why are we suffering? There must be a divine plan even on suffering, as there’s a genetic code in man’s breeding. Man’s born as an infant, and if he survives his childhood and adolescence, may grow into adulthood. And God knows that the process of growing up, becoming mature, is to suffer through many conditions or states of mental and physical development, each having their own purpose or necessity. It’s as if we are continually entering into and graduating from rising grades of intelligence and experience, not to mention, our own negativity which comes with it, on the road to adulthood–and fortunately–for some of us anyway, in the process discovering who and what we are.

Spiritually speaking, we could call the final graduation from this school of life on earth, and all the suffering that goes with it, “resurrection”. For when having entered fully into our adulthood (enlightenment), we now see what all the suffering was about. It was about us still holding onto the image of life(mainly the body/personality) as an end in itself, and projecting our life’s energy (as separate entities or centers of awareness in space and mind) back upon that image, until, finally, spiritually maturing to the point of letting go (letting be, as it were) of the body/personality–that block (image/form) of stubborness who causes his own suffering–we selflessly Realize the Totality of Being (Nonego)! Thus by and through this psychological process of spiritual maturation (the Way of the cross), we pass through, overcome, rise above or resolve our own childhood and adolescence, intuconsciously Realizing we Are Now Living (Christ) Jesus, our Adulthood!

If man didn’t suffer we couldn’t see (pass) through it, and being that understanding, rise above it, overcoming the suffering (negative energy) in ourself! This is not a matter of thinking but of Being. When we think something we create a beginning and an ending, and if we believe we are that thought, if that is our identity (self-image), then we project a beginning and an ending on ourself. But, if we identify ourself as first Being (intubeing), that is, being ourself as a Whole, as the Intelligence who gives rise to the thought–but is not the thought–then we see (understand) through any beginning or ending, as our Center of Awareness Is Before (through) the thought! Thus intubeing one (the same as) with Christ or Enlightenment, we are not dependent on any concept, image, form or thing-event, and therefore suffering (selfhood) has no place to dwell.

Mankind is turning in on himself, on the very energy (spirit) that is his life (our life). The energy is ultimately our Lord, our innermost Being, and a Holy Fire (Spirit)! Thus the universe, and that includes mankind in it, is only a means to this end, which is endless: to come Awake, Aware, Alive to the One Life Force who Is Ourself as a Whole! But, in order to finally realize this mankind must first pass through himself, and all the negativity that comes with his sense of having a separate selfhood (ego) apart from the Totality of Being (God). For only by passing through hell, the cycle of birth and death and reincarnation, can we ever fully Realize the Heaven (Kingdom of God) already In us…Being Us, potentially!

Mankind Is Turning In On Himself (part two)

When we prejudge or project a preconception onto any subject matter, we are suppressing our own consciousness, attempting, even unconsciously, to contain our very life’s energy with the concept, to hold onto it, as it were; thus we entrap ourselves with the projection. Worse still, if we then “identify” with the subject matter, we become hooked on it, that is, it becomes part of our self-image, and the energy rebounds on us, creating a condition of self-victimization.

Mankind is turning in on himself! On the very energy that he has contained with the universal conceptualization of himself (ourself) as separate entities in space and mind (collective self-image), and thus being centered in the physical body (outside the spirit), remains hooked on the same. And since, out of fear and insecurity, and a low esteem of himself (seeing the world in himself as less than divine)–all of which constitute his “guilt” (sense of separate selfhood)–he would rather “cut and run” from any confrontation with his own projection instead of meeting this intimidation head on, and by Way of the cross, transmute the energy unto God (our innermost Being),  freeing his members from their own ego-satan. Mankind has, in effect, learned emotionally to hate himself for his own moral cowardise!

Of course, man will not consciously admit this to himself, and so, by remaining centered in a state of denial, he waxes hostile in relation to anyone or anything that seemingly brings up this estranged emotion (energy), whether only in thought or by interaction, that rages in his heart. But others are only a mirror unto himself, and when he condemns others, even lashing out at them for what he is seeing in himself, man is condemning himself (ourself) collectively! In time the pattern of his behavior becomes obsessive-addictive, as the repetition takes him (us) further out of control. Thus it’s the energy that drives him…he does not drive the energy.

But hypocrisy is a crime against the soul, against each other, and against God, our innermost Being. In living the image of life as reality, by containing the very energy that is life (ourself) instead of allowing such to flow freely back into God, we are manipulated, controlled and exploited by it, that is, by our own projection (ego)! We turn the same into satan, so-called, and ego-satan judges us guilty! So we must suffer our own ignorance, nailing Jesus to the cross again and again! Indeed, our hypocrisy, and the struggle that goes with it, rules the world, and is the suffering that defines and frames the human material condition. And it’s all coming to a head! Because mankind (and that means each of us) cannot escape himself (ourself). We are the pattern and character of our behavior: as we live so are we!

Now, if we were to study alcoholism, and see it as a pattern of behavior or process of living, we would come to realize its self-destructiveness. Likewise, if we observe and study mankind in the world outside as a collective pattern of behavior or process of living (egoism), we would come to realize man’s (our) self-destructiveness. The human material condition is out of control; it always has been. But what’s different now is that the world outside (sense of spaciousness) is shrinking, and there’s nowhere outside to go anymore to escape ourself as ego-satan. So, with the expanded development and heightened sensitivity of modern culture (bigness), there’s a constant encroachment of our space, even of ourself. Thus, if we want to be free of our own self-victimization we will have to confront, penetrate, understand and resolve our own attachment to and conflict with the ego/personality, and the image (individual and collective) that we think is ourself.

For there is no deliverance from our guilt, and our sense of a separate selfhood, with any agency outside our innermost Being! Freedom from want can’t be given to us or guaranteed by another, not by governments, organized religions,  social institutions and groups or persons of any kind. Even man’s law is only as good or as evil as man is himself. Freedom from want is living Free, Free of our own self-destructiveness and suffering (ignorance). If we are not living Free, Freedom from want is not happening!

Thus I often speak of the Way of the cross as a Way of living, not as a single historical event. The Principal of Life or inner Christ (Buddha, Krishna, etc) is the Living Potential Within all of us. In the gospel story the man Jesus represents a living example of one who is fulfilling through his own existence on earth the Way of the cross, of living Life, not the image of life. He has seen through the image (projection), and selflessly Realizing ourself as a Whole, transmuted his (our) very life’s energy: I am in you and you are in me and we are in ourself as a Whole. Life Is One…Nonliteral, purely Spiritual.

We cannot escape ourself! The pattern of our individual and collective behavior is coming full curcle, as it must, to be transformed. In time we will have to face ourself, and what we see will be mankind’s judgment on himself (ourself)! For we are what we see, what we are living: that’s who (pattern/character) and what (process/condition) we are. And there’s no escaping that!

Facing Our Darkside

Across the planet earth mankind is turning in on himself, but remains, for the most part, unconscious of the fact. Like an alcoholic remains in a state of denial (willful ignorance) about his condition, he simply doesn’t realize! Nor does he particularly want to. Having been well-programed by culture to fixate on the image of things, and by acquiring the product he desires, escaping into the gratification that comes with materialism/egoism (like an alcoholic escapes into booze, a drug addict into the bodily sensation or a propagandist into his own spin), he sells himself on a way of life that can be best described as “cut and run”, refusing to deal directly with the energy (pressure) that afflicts him–but which is his life. He will not take the “heat” or living responsibility for his own behavior…for the way in which he sees and projects himself at this moment. And he always has an excuse: mother looked cross-eyed at me when I was three, or whatever. I speak now of the human material condition, of duality, sensory perception and ego by itself.

The human ego/personality is an escape artist and a pretender. Cut off from the Whole self, as a split-personality, so to speak, he blames the “other” for everything he sees but cannot accept in himself. Like the story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, a conflict (and is not all conflict some form of guilt?) is projected by the human psyche, and instead of investigating the conflict internally and by understanding what’s actually coming down inside us and resolving it with compassion, the two rival factions in our psyche, each blaming and hating the other in an attempt to escape their own culpability, continue to make war on each other until the human psyche is destroyed. See a parallel here, perhaps, between Arab and Western cultures, not to mention, between republicans and democrats?

Indeed, when culture, to feed its collective craving for whatever, gives sanction to immorality destructive things start to happen…and these thing-events get worse! Moral authority collapses (the gods lose their magic, so to speak) and culture compacts into a mode of “collective self-undoing”, packaging and spinning a perverse (or is it progressive?) behavior or perpetual state of self-victimization. And, with the politicalization of this state, the conflict–and the guilt associated with it–in having become politically correct, increases, until, finally, after doing much violence to himself, the victim (us), like an alcoholic, bottoms out. And so it is that this way leads in the end to oblivion: to disillusionment, despair and death.

The 20th Century is on record as the most violent century in history, and there’s no reason, considering man’s past, not to believe the 21st will be even more violent. But will mankind pay heed to any such warning? Can he? The alcoholic is out of control…and so is mankind as a selfoholic (materialist/  egoist)! And, as most alcoholics have to bottom out first, losing everything, before they will accept help, will not the same be true for mankind as a selfoholic? Will not cultures fall like dominoes before this century is out? This is not about spouting idealism or painting pretty pictures of positive thinking but recognizing generations of reinforced patterns of human behavior. Mankind will have to face his “darkside” before it’s too late, and discover Who and what we Are. So, what is a righteous person to do?

Face his darkside, of course, now! Confront, penetrate, understand and resolve it. Instead of continuing to play the “image game”, pretending to be what the ego/personality is not, and in actuality can never be, any person who has his mind set on liberation (Dr. Jekyll, “white hat”) needs to stare directly into his darkside (Mr. Hyde, “black hat”) and annihilate the conflict (attachment) by seeing through himself…seeing/being Before through all the images, emotions and actions projected by his ego/personality!

Mankind lives the image of life, not life as a Whole. This is because he identifies with his body/personality instead of with his Spirit/God, our innermost Being. But we Are that Energy-Consciousness or pure Intelligence which gave rise to this very moment, not the form it takes which, like a reflection in the mirror, is an extension of Us but is not Us, not the Center (Source) of Awareness! But when we identify with the reflection (image of life) in the mirror as ourself, then that becomes the center and we are cut off from our Soul (Sole) Reflector and Intubeing! In our isolation we see everything as existing outside of ourself in space and mind instead of from Within us and As Us, the Whole Consciousness (Intuconsciousness)!

Thus, to the ego/personality the universe is relative, subjective (though appearing objective), partial and temporal (maya). I refer to this as the “literal perspective” or, if you prefer, ego-satan, the very enemy that mankind faces in himself…and as himself! However, an enemy that ultimately has no real power, life or cause. Therefore, only by passing through himself as the literal perspective will man see God, the “Nonliteral Perspective”, ourself as a Whole (Intuself/God in man/Christ Jesus)! Such Is the true Resurrection! Not a resurrection of the material body, which would be a resurrection of all the suffering that comes with it, but of the Holy Spirit (Nonego), man’s true Self–which Is Selfless–and intusees through the universe in ourself that all things are nonthings, that is, Nonthingness, Complete in Ourself as a Whole (God)!

But mankind has entered into a dark night of the soul, his world view will crumble into dust, as it must, for ego/personality/satan is not the real doer of anything but his own undoing. His willfulness (pride) is not God, but an escape artist and a pretender, and as such a living death! Thus he goes before a fall, as he (we) must! The spiritual-minded (nonliteral perspective) among us understand this but the worldly-minded (literal perspective) do not. Like a selfoholic, they don’t see through their need for gratification as an end, as a false absolute. They live the image, absorbing themselves in it. So the literal perspective dominates them, as it must!

Thus, fashioning a mind (world) dominated and continually victimized by their own projection, the worldly-minded breathe not the Energy-Consciousness behind the image and Within themselves, who Is ourself as a Whole (Nonliteral Perspective). It is not in the province of ego/personality to do so as the Totality of Being cannot be structured nor manipulated, controlled and exploited by the ego/personality. Such rests “through” the psyche as an attitude of nonattachment and holy indifference, totally open, direct, free and nondependent. Therefore man will never literalize the Nonliteral, for the Totality of Being cannot be contained by the partiality of being.

But when one’s center of awareness is the Principal of Life (Nonego), the Word Is Lord, as duality/sensory perception/ego are no longer a problem–for we are seeing/being through the image (concept) and projection the One Reality or uncarved Block, the Totality of Being or Living Light that everything Is! The ego/personality cannot see (be) this, and never will. But in Spirit (God) we Are what We See, there being no division, no conflict (guilt), no attachment in us.

So, mankind is turning in on himself and entering a dark night of the soul: what do we do? Certainly not cut and run, nor make war on a supposed enemy outside ourself–but turn In and face our darkside directly–taking up our cross and thus accepting full responsibility for our actions…and not resorting to any excuses for that behavior nor blaming anyone for it, not even ourself. But seeing things just as they are, and seeing/being through them in ourself, understanding the pattern of behavior and psychological process behind our own (collective) self-victimization, behind the human material condition. The Truth shall set us free!

Mankind is coming undone, his worlds will collide and crumble, his myths will be shattered, his fears and insecurities and guilt will be exposed; thus he (we) will stand alone before God, before the Living Energy that Is our life! In the psychological process of our own self-undoing, we will know the truth about the human material condition and that will either lift us into Heaven or bury us in hell, so to speak…either Free us from our own ego/personality/satan or wrap our body-life in oblivion. The judgment and determination is ours!

What Is My Definition Of Enlightenment?

Knowing Who and what we really Are.

The most difficult thing for us to do is to just Be ourself. From the moment we are born on earth, culture pressures us to conform to a preconceived image of who and what that culture thinks we should be: to make us a product of cultural programing and packaging. This is the ego/personality/satan aspect in us trying to sell the product…to manipulate, control and exploit fate arbitrarily, even collectively, instead of being at one with it.

Yet, to see (live) and pass through our own ego–and its exploitation of the environment (including everyone in it)–thus automatically transmuting the energy that is our life from literal to nonliteral, from material to spiritual, from personal to intupersonal, is to be enlightened (understanding Awareness)…to live in the ever-present (Nonego). For in knowing Who and what we really Are, we are no longer centered (caught up) in the thing, in the past (ego), in sensory perception and duality, but remain Free through the same,  as our innermost Being Is without any attachment to, or conflict with, culture (the world outside).

What Is My Perception Of The World Today?

The world is ego (duality/sensory perception/literal perspective), and that collective self (superego or great spook) is turning in on himself (humanity, as perceived with the bodily senses). Think of the ego as a tunnel, and that we, as spirit, need to pass through (cease to identity with) it in order to come out in the light (ourself as a Whole) at the other side, that is, to Be the Light! Right now we are stuck in the tunnel and everything seems dark: the worst in us is coming to the surface of our consciousness, and rather than confront it, and, maybe, by seeing (living) through (letting go of ) the darkness, discovering the Living Light (Jesus) already In (through) us–who Is Us–we want to escape self-examination,  failing to absorb the very energy that is our life.

It used to be that we could escape to the “new world”, but today that world has shrunk, and there’s nowhere to hide…except,  maybe,  in ourselves. Thus the collective ego is caught up in a process of self-undoing, which must take place before the light of understanding can filter through the tunnel and come upon us. So take heart, keep your faith strong, and behind all the suffering that comes with holding onto a separate selfhood (ego-satan), feel the Living Light of God Within coming closer, filling us with His Presence (Stillness)…as Suchness Is our innermost Being and Liberation.

We were put on this earth to selflessly Realize Who and what we Are. I say selflessly because so long as we remain centered in our ego/personality, which is literal and partial, we can’t know ourself as Nonliteral and Whole. You might say that materialism/egousm is our childhood and spirituality (nonego) our adulthood. Thus it’s time for us all (humanity collectively) to grow up! To accept responsibility for our own behavior, and seeing (living) through it, step Into the Light!

The Poem Is Me

I sit here with pencil in hand, ready to compose a poem…

to reveal a sign of, and give witness to, the poet that I am;

yet I intuit the Stillness

at the Center of my being, saying,

“There’s no rush. Everything is timeless.”

 

Thus nothing comes…

so I remain still, but ready,

waiting attentively for that inspiration which flows

out from the streaming consciousness within me.

 

With every moment that passes, and comes again,

I bring into sharper focus the concentration

of that light-conscious energy which flows thru me;

 and thus remaining Before me,

Such Depth, in writing these nonverses thru my mind,

both blesses and confounds upon every invisible line

with the soundless Sound that Breathes ourself as a Whole…

even as Such Depth is my strength and my refuge, my all!

 

I stare thru a point in space Into Space…

and everything becomes Still;

even now my heart is sure

that in seeing thru this very moment in time

I am intuconsciously Awake, Alive, being so Aware

of ourself as a Whole!

 

Still, I haven’t written a word

nor spoken a single syllable,

not even to address another mind

to the Living Potential Within us all.

 

How will anyone know the Stillness

and Light-Consciousness

Streaming right Here, right Now?

There’s no literal proof of ourself as a Whole!

making not the slightest effort to give witness

yet I intuit my very being, saying,

to Be the Nonthingness that Is ourself as a Whole

right Here, right Now;

Ourself As A Whole

When I stare deeply into a grain of sand,

as into my own mind,

I see ourself as a Whole.

 

When I feel deeply the emptiness that is the grain,

even as it is my own mind,

I touch ourself as a Whole.

 

When I hear the soundless Sound that bears the emptiness,

even as Such bears my own mind,

I ground ourself as a Whole.

 

When I sense the pure Intelligence that knows the soundless Sound,

even as Such knows my own mind,

I breathe ourself as a Whole.

 

But this I is only the receiver of That which we call God,

as is my own mind,

and by itself breathes conceit;

but in passing thru nothingness, as thru the concept,

this I melts into Nonthingness,

as Living Light Is the true giver/receiver of all…

Being Ourself as a Whole.

Things

Things are just what they are, literally speaking. If we see things just as they are, without projecting any preconceptions onto them–and without identifying with them–these images/concepts/forms remain an extension of us (of our perception) but not as Us, not as the Center of Awareness (Wholeness). However, if we see things as ends in themselves (false absolutes), even as we are seeing ourself the same, then we feed them our own energy and they become more than what they are (delusion)–and so do we. Thus in projecting (preconceiving) things as positive or negative, right or wrong, we make a big deal of them even as we make a big deal of ourself in the process, having become attached to, and, often, in conflict with, our own preconceptions.

But things just are what they are: a tree is just a tree, the sky is just the sky, a person is just a person, the concept is just the concept. If we see things just as they are, then they are neither right or wrong, good or bad, positive or negative, this or that in themselves. Rather, it is we who make them so by the way in which we see them, which is an extension of the way in which we see ourself! Nothing can be clean or unclean in itself, but we make it so when we see ourself that way! Like a dishonest person will see dishonesty in another even if it is not there, or a honest person might see honesty in another even if its not there. Thus we project our preconceptions (even delusions) onto other people, places and things. Indeed, we can only project who and what we are, as all projection is an extension of the way in which we see ourself at the moment.

But every time we identify with and give into our thoughts and emotions as ends in themselves (the energy that is our life rides us instead of us riding the energy), we feed our ego-satan, reinforcing the split in our own consciousness from God, the Totality of Being (our innermost Being). In understanding this and choosing not to indulge the ego/personality any longer, that is, choosing to let go of it or “let be”, we may release ourself from our attachment to the image/concept/form that we have identified with, entering into an intustate of nonattachment and holy indifference (Nonego) in relation to things, even to our own ego.

This understanding Awareness or Enlightenment is not a possession of the intellect or our own ego, as Such cannot be given to us by anyone or anything outside the Nonego, our true Self, who Is Selfless (God). So we continue in this world to manifest conflict, and even wage war upon each other, because we continue to see ourselves not only as separate entities in space and mind but believe those images/concepts/forms to be the center (source) of awareness (reality), and thus we project all manner of preconceptions on each other even as we remain stuck on ourselves (self-images) as ends (false centers). Therefore, deeply insecure concerning things that appear greater than ourself, we fear the very energy coming up in us that is our life…now disguised as things! We live the image of life, not life as a Whole, seeing (projecting) the image apart from our own energy (spirit)!

NOTE: Mankind is turning in on himself (ourself) as separate entities in space (as things), and if he doesn’t learn to see through himself as ego/personality/psyche, selflessly Realizing the Center of Awareness Is Before (through)  images/concepts/forms, he (we) will “bottom out” as a materialist or collective ego (selfoholic), and may even destroy his collective life! There is no longer the “new world” to escape to, the planet is becoming (via population and modern technology) very close. Mankind will finally have to face himself and his (our) collective projections! Thus it will be up to each individual to “turn In” and confront, penetrate, understand, and by that understanding Awareness, resolve his own attachment to and conflict with “things”, that is, with his own ego-satan!

Who Is Ever…

Who is ever spinning away from his true Center, and like a wandering star, remains outside the Core of our very Being?

Who is ever lying to himself about what is happening right now, and like a political ideolog, proclaims as truth his own preconceptions formed in the past?

Who is ever pretending to be what he is not, and like a popular actor, turns his life into a comedy-drama of make-believe?

Who is ever denying the actual cause for this pretentious display, and like a fashionable critic, blames others for his own hypocrisy?

Who is ever escaping from taking living responsibility for his own actions, and like a dedicated con artist, tries desperately to fool himself, as well as others, that he is?

Who is ever packaging and selling himself as a commerical product in order to gain self-gratification, and like a super, but grasping, salesman, pays the price for his own craving, which is death to the spirit?

Who is ever thinking that he is something solid, and like an isolated body, suppresses the emptiness that plagues his quiet moments?

Who is ever believing that something is good or bad, right or wrong, positive or negative, this or that, and like a leading authority on the subject, traps his object self in a cycle of conflict and hostility?

Who is ever experiencing whatever as being outside himself, and like an unconscious observer, never sees its essential quality as being within himself and as ourself?

Who is ever projecting himself but never being or understanding ourself as a Whole, and like a partial witness, gives evidence against our very Being?

Who?

Why, mine and your own ego, that’s who!

How Does The Body-Consciousness Or Egoism And Sense Of duality Vanish?

 

It’s not so much that body-consciousness or egoism vanish but that one, having let go of the literal sensation (solid sense of being a separate entity in space or mind), sees/lives (from Within) through it. But how does this happen? How (ego) has nothing to do with it. One follows the Eternal Principal (Nonego), living Jesus, the Way of the cross, and by the grace of God, our innermost Being, becomes Aware that We Are already there.

Everything we experience as being outside (other than) ourself is a conceptualization of consciousness, and thus by seeing/being through the conceptual sensation instead of remaining stuck on it, one’s center of awareness is not the thing-event in space or in mind but the space/mind in itself (ourself) and as a Whole; that is to say, we intuconsciously (selflessly) Realize (Intuperception/Nonsensory Perception) Before (through) the concept or thing-event the basic, pure Intelligence that we Are and that everything Is (God).

Thus duality, sensory perception and ego are no longer a problem, as all become insubstantial (void) to the seer, whose Center (Intustate) of Awareness, remaining nonattached and holy indifferent, is everywhere nonliterally speaking and nowhere literally speaking. Such Is Energy-Consciousness without (through) an object: the One (Ourself as a Whole) purely Spiritual, transcendent/immanent, Intuconscious Streaming, Totality of Being (Nonliteral Perceptive) that Is (God).

How Does One Get Rid Of All One’s Beliefs?

By seeing (being aware) through one’s own ego/personality/selfhood that all personally based (ego-centered) beliefs are, at their root, insubstantial. One may see this by living meditation: daily confronting, penetrating, understanding and resolving any attachment to and conflict with the subject matter (thought/emotion/action) that one experiences.

Thus by turning In and stilling (centering) the mind, paying constant attention to what is actually going on at this very moment (seeing it as it is), one will “open up” the ego/personality. And then, having dropped the preconception of a separate self, like a scaring scope of spiritual discernment,  one will receive penetrating insights into our innate being.  Character transformation  follows automatically as one consciously discovers the self actually living/being what before the mind was only thinking.

Therefore one doesn’t have to hold onto any beliefs (the past) per se…just live Life as Such is ever-present. Indeed, living is believing!

In Having Nothing, I Have It All

 

Some may call me a fool,

but I say, with an inner smile

so subtle as to be invisible to the naked eye:

“In having nothing, I have it all.”

 

Thus I am neither a winner or a loser,

neither a success or a failure;

I am neither positive or negative,

right or wrong, good or not good;

in fact, in my mind

my spirit rests neither as this or as that.

 

In spirit I know I am not the personality or ego,

the image that was born and that must die;

in spirit I intusee We,

the One pure Intelligence who fills the open heart with Joy.

 

In spirit, in ourself as a Whole,

life’s a continuum, not a separation;

in spirit we were never born nor we will ever die,

tho’ my image will,

as all things conceived pass into oblivion.

 

Like clouds in the sky,

all conceptions must pass away;

but like the sky, I remain Still–

even in watching the clouds come and go;

for my mind clings to nothing,

and having nothing, has it all.

 

I don’t do meditation,

I am meditation, living meditation;

and thru every thing-event of the day

I am aware of the stillness Within

penetrating my image, as the Presence of God

fills my heart and soul with Ourself…

with Such Life that was never born and will never die.

 

Such is my refuge and my strength;

and even to the ends of the earth

will I follow the Living Light

shining thru my every thought…

the pure Being who brings Such Joy to my heart

that my pride cannot but melt into naught.

Drop The Watcher

 

Feel, but don’t watch yourself feeling;

think, but don’t watch yourself thinking;

act, but don’t watch yourself acting;

be, but don’t watch yourself being.

 

Drop the watcher

and you will see things as they are,

and then seeing thru the other,

know ourself as a Whole.

 

Drop the watcher

and your focus is Now;

and even tho’ the past is a worthy contender,

it can’t hold onto nothing at all.

 

And it must hold on in order to remain

in control, or at least to think so;

for it’s  life is projection,

it’s reality delusion.

 

So, drop the watcher

and be Free of whatever,

of duality, sensory perception, ego…

of the void still held onto by you.

 

Drop the watcher

and be Full of whatever,

of the living Light who dwells thru the void

in the mind as a Whole.

How Do We Die While Living, And Meet God?

By practicing a living discipline of confronting, penetrating, understanding, and by that understanding (spiritual discernment, which is to say, spirit discerning), resolving through every thing-event of the day our attachment to and conflict with the ego/personality (contraries of human nature). This path may be called a “psychological death”, as we are letting go (ceasing to identify with) our object self (image) and seeing/being through (Before) the ego or conceptualized consciousness: also referred to as the Way of the cross, for the crucifixion and death of the ego represents an internal but living process of sublimation and transformation, fulfilled by the “awakened” psyche (soul) and terminating in a “rest” or release.

Thus we are not prejudging or projecting preconceptions onto the subject matter, but trusting completely in God, our innermost Being. Our Center of Awareness is no longer the body but through the body, no longer the personality but through the personality, in the spirit/space/mind/energy-consciousness as a Whole (Nonego). Such Is God in man (Christ Jesus)…not God as man or the personality. For when the person psychologically dies to himself as a separate entity in space or in mind, God (Christ) comes Alive in man (Jesus)!

Are The Events Of Our Lives Psychological Myth?

The answer becomes obvious as soon as the mind (man) realizes its own ego (duality/sensory perception) as the projector of the myth, the spinner of the tale, and thus does not do in reality, but dreams–projects (escapes) outward in space and in mind. Thus all thing-events in the actual world (maya), being relative, subjective, temporal and partial, are metaphor in relation to Spirit (Nonego) or That which Is…Is the real Doer (Nondoer or Totality of  Being)!

But, as ego, we are forever projecting our preconceptions onto people, places and things in order to live out the psychological myths (images/forms) that our psyches identify with–and hold onto. These myths, and the cultural context that accompany them, therefore become necessary as a means of dealing with the energies that have been drawn up through the body from the center of our being. This is instinctual, of course, for without the energy to realize something, nothing would ever be possible. There would be no development. And without any development in a phenomenal universe, there can be no Liberation, no Resurrection of the Spirit. Thus before the mind of man can come fully Awake, it must dream (conceptualize), in order to realize the possibility and potential within it (the power of suggestion).

But often life’s energy become trapped in the body, whose organs and cells may block the natural flow with our resistance to it (the fear of being overwhelmed by life’s direct flow), the fragmentation having been caused by the conscious suppression of our own being. Thus the greater need to identify with the Flow (Energy-Consciousness) as ourself rather than with the body/personality. Then the events of our lives are seen through, as we selflessly Realize Nonego (Ourself as a Whole) as the real Doer (Nonactual) …as the One Life, Power and Cause behind (Within) everything. Indeed, the myth becomes a ritual means of dying a “psychological death’ to duality (ego/partiality of being) and intuconsciously Realizing Ourself the Resurrection in God (Totality of Being)!

Being Right Here, Right Now

What most of us call life is only the image and media of life (sensory perception), and thus is an illusion. Something which is actual but not Real, something which has been created (projected) rather than just Is. That is to say, it is not lasting, or absolute, as whatever has a beginning also has an ending. Yet, one can have a direct perception (nonsensory) of right Now, of the Awareness that just Is in itself, even in ourself as a Whole. But, as soon as a concept of That is formed in one’s mind, Reality is seemingly lost, and right Now becomes the past (ego).

All concepts, then, are “projection” in relation to right Now. Yet, if one sees through the concept, that is, intusees Before one’s own projection, then right Now is regained. Basically because Such was never really lost, only forgotten, so to speak, in the same way that when one falls asleep, Wakefulness in itself is not annihilated: one has only to wake up again and the Fullness of Being is restored (resurrection). Such is enlightenment.

Enlightenment, then,  Is the Nonliteral Perspective: an interior Vision or Intuperception (Nonsensory Perception) where all concepts, images, forms, being shadows of Andro-Cosmic Light, reflections of the universal Reflector, creations of the pure Intelligence who Is right Here, right Now, are but extensions of a unified Whole (Nonthingness), an Energy-Consciousness Continuum Complete in itself, Being wholly Within our collective, literal self [collective unconscious? Remember, everything being said here is not fully awake, but only concepts incomplete in themselves, and not the Totality (Quality) of Being, which can never be spoken of directly]. So, concepts just are what they are; they have no power, life or cause by themselves. And if one remains nonattached to one’s own projections, the thing-events we experience in space or in mind are no problem.

Ego/personality therefore is not capable of Reality in and by itself. Of actuality, yes, as this moment we are experiencing is actual. But ego/personality is a conceptualization and thus a partial perspective, not the Totality of Being, not the pure Intelligence who Is right Here, right Now. As persons, then, all that we think, even that which we believe ourselves to be, is merely a projection of that partial perspective which we are still holding onto as our identity, as the center (ground) of our awareness. But that center is outside of right Now and thus our awareness has become soilidified and attached to the “thing”, to the object or body in space, and to the concept or image in mind that goes with it. This is ego/personality, the world most of us live in.

Yet, when this world is seen through, when the ego is dropped, a Nonego or Nonliteral Perspective remains: Such has always been there, like when an object in space is annihilated, the space is still there, for the space is the true ground. Thus Suchness Is our true Center of understanding Awareness, Intubeing always right Here, right Now, Before (behind) the concept and Within (through) us as persons, just Being in ourself Nonthingness/pure Intelligence.  So the question is: if we are, at our very Core, pure Intelligence or Wakefulness (Whole Consciousness), then how do we wake up from the dream or illusion of self-consciousness (selfhood), of seeing ourselves only as separate entities in space? How do we see through the shadow of our own light? the projection/reflection of our own partial perspective? the extension and concentrated point in space and mind (image of life) of our own energy-consciousness?

Self-consciousness (ego) may be likened to the dream self: being partial, relative, subjective and temporal, it can only come into existence (actuality) when full consciousness (intuconsciousness) is lost, like when we go to sleep: finding ourself unconscious, though still mentally active, the subconscious and dream state rolls in and takes over control of the entity. At this point, we are driven by our life’s energy, we do not drive the energy. This is called chaos, and is the universe outside the very Core of our innermost Being. In this condition of partial/literal being, the energy often becomes too much for us to absorb, as we are concentrating so much on ourself as an object that we block the natural flow, thus the pressure becomes too great, and we (as the object) give in to it, becoming captured by our own projection. We flee the fire and icon of our life’s energy in order to save our ego’s sanity and survive the build-up of pressure going on inside us, which we unconsciously have created. Thus we think this behavior is liberation, and quite natural,  so our split in consciousness and division in mind not only manifests as duality, sensory perception and ego but remains hooked on itself, often increasing with repetition (need to escape), moving from neurotic to obsessive-addictive behavior.

Again, when we think a thought, the mind focuses and concentrates itself to the point in space, and that point becomes polarized; thus we too become polarized. Our energy sustains the thought and it comes alive as we are alive, being the essential quality of the thought. Likewise, all things in the universe, and the universe itself, are thoughts in the mind of the pure Intelligence that we Are (God). Nothing exists by itself alone. The life energy that sustains us is the essential Quality that sustains everything in the universe. And that Nonliteral (hidden to the ego) Quality or Nonessentiality is the pure Intellugence or Intuconsciousness who Is right Here, right Now, even Ourself as a Whole (Totality of Being)!

The problem then with ego/personality (selfhood), being literal-minded (worldly-minded), is that it only sees and believes the thing, shadow, reflection, image, concept, without seeing the same in relation to its, and our, essential Quality or Nonliteral aspect. Ego/personality suffers from a partial perspective believed as an end in itself, and thinks itself only a separate entity in space, concentrating our life’s energy to that point (egoism). Thus we are not all there, not fully awake to our intuconsciousness. And like the dream self captured in the dream, we are contained by our own energy, and constantly victimizing ourself with the Jekyll and Hyde Syndrome. Ego/personality, then, by itself  is self-destructive, and all that it creates must eventually come undone and be annihilated.

However, when one awakes from his own self-containment (self-centeredness), that is, from the partial/literal condition created in and by his own mind, one sees or intusees that we are not the conceptualization or form which our energy-consciousness creates, but the Whole Consciousness or pure Intelligence Within who sustains the form, Intubeing right Here, right Now! And thus from that point on, the concept/image/form is no longer a problem, as all things Are a unified Whole (Nonthingness), even as the pure Intelligence Is All!

But how do we, as persons, come to know this? Actually, how has nothing to do with it. This would be like asking how do we grow up? Maturity is not a how-to exercise. A more helpful question would be: what is the way to grow up? What way leads, by its very nature, to spiritual maturity and thus to Wakefulness? The way that is offered here is called the Way of the cross. Again, we are not speaking literally but nonliterally. The Way is not outside of us but Within us! The path is not historical but psychological. Thus the Way is a living process of consciously confronting, penetrating, understanding, and by that understanding Awareness coming from Within (from God), resolving every attachment to and conflict with whatever is in front of us in space or in mind. We take up our cross (selfhood)! This is the cross of forgiveness, for without forgiveness one cannot face himself and overcome his hang-ups from Within. But when we do have mercy on ourself, then self becomes the true cross by which we may offer all (our life’s energy) to our innermost Being, in whose Presence all is resolved (absorbed), leading to a release and psychological Rest, not to physical torture.

However, not until we understand the full relationship between the Nonliteral and literal perspectives, mentally discriminating between Being and thinking, the Real and the unreal (though actual), the Totality (Nonego) and the partiality (ego), will we wed and resolve the contraries of our human nature, transcending both as conceptualization. For in living (being) Truth we are not just thinking truth, projecting an it or conceptualization: Here and Now are not outside of us–but the Nonthing Event (Intuprocess) that Is Within us and Is Us. The pure Intelligence (Spirit) who, in giving rise to the conceptualization, always Sees (Lives) through it, returning, so to speak, Into Self, Intubeing the Nonessentiality that Is!

A Way Of Being

Want to overcome evil in the world? Then you need to overcome good as well. Want to overcome wrong in the world? Then you need to overcome right as well. Want to overcome negative in the world? Then you need to overcome positive as well. Want to overcome “this” in the world? Then you need to overcome “that” as well. As long as we remain bound to duality, sensory perception and ego, then failure, loss and death will be our reckoning as well. For you cannot have one without the other.

But, of course, we deny “this” and say “that” will prevail, because we still identify with that…and thus feed it our own life’s energy. Yet, this and that are only two sides of the same principal, and the Principal in itself (ourself) Is a unified Whole, and not partial (incomplete). But again, we deny this by our actual behavior rather than see through our own attachments and preconceptions. So we continue to suffer the pain (and karma) of our own blindness and ignorance. Dr. Jekyll saw himself as good and therefore denied the evil aspect (dark side) in him when it arose–and Mr. Hyde was born.

Likewise, most of us play the image (media) game in life and feed the very image/concept/form the power that appears to overwhelm us, and so we choose to flee from the confrontation with ourself. But no one can escape the self! Ultimately, the self is selfless and a liberation. But, to know the selfless is to Be Selfless! Free of our attachments  and conflicts with the images/concepts/forms of life.

Such is a Way of Being, not just thinking. And as the self is the true cross, the Way of the cross is to consciously confront, penetrate, understand, and by that understanding Awareness coming from Within, resolve our attachment to and conflict with whatever comes before us in space or in mind. Such is a living/being meditation, ever constant, activated by and through every thing-event of the day.

Therefore, to the degree that we consciously accept ourself as we are this moment, and without morally judging, take up our cross and see through our own duality, sensory perception and ego,thus nailing to the cross all that goes with it (absorbing life’s energy and transmuting it), we will no longer continue to haunt and be victimized by our own life’s energy! Freedom from suffering is not a gift from outside of us, but from God, our innermost Being!

If there is ever to be a real peace in the world, we will need to Be that Peace! A living/being peace. And such can only Be when we selflessly accept the true cross of forgiveness and thereby overcome our identification with duality, sensory perception and ego. Then both the quality and perception of good and evil, right and wrong, positive and negative, this and that, are no longer seen as opposites, being outside of, and in conflict with, each other–but as a unified Whole (Being wholly Within)! And as we are no longer attached to the image/concept/form of life, we remain Free to use whatever to express our Love of Peace (God), our innermost Being.

Streaming

Streaming,

this very moment watching

the constant flow of images,

thoughts, emotions and assorted things,

like particle-waves in an oceanic mind 

riding the tide of Energy-Consciousness, of God,

coming in, going out to sea;

that is, ’til identifying with what I see,

and catching myself holding onto the sensation,

I fall into this revelry as into my mind’s projection!

 

O, how I do spin! and spinning,

go down into the swell of the wave, becoming

split off from the ocean as a Whole,

which Is Still Streaming…but without me!

 

I am a separate existence now,

centered in the phenomenen instead of thru the sensation,

attached to the form instead of letting go…

and thus remaining outside the Whole,

streaming not with Us but only with me.

 

But we Are One!

Even in my delusion of separateness I can return Home,

for the Stillness Is always there, ever Resting,

ever-ready to once again

lift up my heart Into Being, Whole Being!

 

Indeed, each time the projection of my mind’s desire

takes me for a spin into the fire of my own gratification,

I sense the outer attraction getting weaker,

my own ego becoming smaller.

 

All I need do is absorb the fire,

and Intuconsciously Streaming,

automatically transmute the same Into Being,

Into Who and what we already Are,

and always have been tho’ lost in self-consuming.

 

Yea, I go into the Presence of God,

or what I think of as God;

for even as the thought becomes void

and the energy transmuted into Living Light,

I’m first Seeing–even as We Are just Being–

that Energy-Consciousness which Is Now Streaming

thru the form…all thru the night!

There’s So Much Beauty In The World

There’s so much beauty in the world,

even in a grain of sand,

when one sees with the heart;

with the inner knowing that stands not apart

from what one sees…but is

completely open to this very moment.

 

Indeed, diving deeply into the mystery of life, of self,

one sees everything as we see ourself as a Whole:

beautiful without compare,

moving without departing from Now,

filling the consciousness that’s us without measure,

as radiant light goes into radiant light

even without watching the show.

 

O God, Thou Art Living Light

when one sees with the heart:

with the understanding Awareness that’s ourself as a Whole,

just Being completely open to this very moment,

first Seeing from Within the shadow

that gives soul witness to the Light,

that we, the world, Are so very beautiful!

What’s The Difference Between Soul And Spirit?

Spirit Is the basic, pure Intelligence Within and behind everything that is: the essential Quality or Nonessentiality, as it were, for the Totality of Being Is always Nonliteral (without form/unstructured to the literal mind) in relation to the partiality of being or literal mind who, being centered in his own form (and body)–to his self-image (and personality)–remains outside the Intelligence as a Whole.

Soul is the primal conceptualization (seed/form) of each aspect of the Whole, of that pure Intelligence, and being at one with the Whole (selfless), also remains nonliteral: the Totality (uncarved Block) Intubeing the Center (Ground) of Awareness–not the soul.

Thus everything has a soul, a primary link to the Andro-Cosmic Mind, conceptually speaking. But most souls either don’t have the capacity or simply fail to realize their own spirit (daemon) and true identity–let alone intusee that all Are One (Whole) Spirit or God, nonconceptually speaking.

What Is Our True Higher Self?

Higher is a relative term. Our true self is selfless (spirit), without the attachment to or conflict with any subject matter. Such, then, is neither higher or lower but just Is…Is our innermost Being, the Totality of Being (Intubeing)–and not another concept, image or thing-event (subject matter). Therefore we are not the personality or ego, that partiality of being which is centered in the body, in the past, in the thing, in the concept (duality/sensory perception), but the pure (Nonsensory) Intelligence who,  remaining Complete in Ourself as a Whole (conceptually speaking) as a Spirit-Matter Continuum (unified Field), gives rise to the phenomena of separate points (images/forms) in space and mind (maya), like reflections/projections in a mirror.

So, if we only experience spirit and matter separately as two different concepts or thing-events (literal perspective), then we can never know (live) ourself as that Continuum (Oneness/Wholeness). But once we cease holding onto, and identifying with, the personality as an end in itself or false absolute, we automatically see (live) through the ego (subject self) and know Who and what we really Are (Nonego), as the Center (Ground) of our Awareness Is the Awareness in itself, Ourself as a Whole.

Such Is Liberation or the Kingdom of God (Nonliteral Persepective), as we Are Living (Christ) Jesus/Buddha/Krishna/the Tao and Principal of Life (the Word)…our true Self (Selfless)!

Sitting And Reflecting

Sitting and reflecting,

writing and meditating,

I breathe the space

and the space breathes me;

I am in the light

and the light is in me.

Like the tide coming in from the sea,

putting pen to paper and my pride to bear,

I sit still

as this streaming consciousness within me,

like nonparticle-waves of living meditation,

washes ashore

onto the beach of my concentration:

insights galore that offer themselves,

like cryptic seashells,

to this other me who sits and reflects

upon these precious light-filled moments.

Living Jesus

Whatever you do…

do it as a means of loving,

living meditation/prayer/faith/religion/God;

for the Principal of Life

is living whatever in ourself as a Whole.

 

To just Be

thru whatever you do,

remaining nonattached to the subject matter,

to the other…

thus fulfilling the Principal of Life thru death,

thru your own existence on earth.

 

I call this living Jesus,

the Way of the cross.

Does A Great Stifling Force Drive The Madness (Self-Destructiveness) Of The Masses?

Yes, it’s called the human personality/ego-satan, the only enemy any of us will ever know (or will never know). That is to say, most of us haven’t examined ourself to any depth in order to see through and understand the secondary motives and drives behind our aggressive, and often self-victimizing, personalities (our conceptualized or split-consciousness).

So, remaining cut off from the Peace that comes with Whole Consciousness (Nonego), we spend our time on this planet in a “rush”, programed by culture (which has to make a profit on everything) to spin our lives away rationalizing, justifying and, if possible, legalizing our escapist behavior. Thus, literally living in a state of denial, we shun the basic Intelligence that we really Are. If this this isn’t (perpetual) madness…I don’t know what is.

Why Are We As Humans Self-Destructive?

In short, because most of us, in identifying with the material body as ourself,  remain self-centered, contained and thus dominated by our own life’s energy–and with the literal perspective that comes with it (maya). Thus we are a tyrant first unto ourselves, then unto others, as one projects outwardly what’s already going on inside; or, in taking the reverse course, we allow others to tyrannize us even as we victimize ourself from within, most probably out of a sense of guilt, as we see ourselves, and the world around us, as being less than divine.  From there the pattern of our behavior is set, and being reinforced over the years, becomes our basic character.

However, our true self is selfless, the Totality of Being (Nonliteral Perspective); yet, as human beings (conceptualized consciousness), we are born as partialities (personalities), cut off from Total (understanding) Awareness (Nonself). This split in consciousness or division in mind is what was originally meant by the phrase “original sin”, for having forgotten, with the “plunge into the senses”, Who and what we reallyAre, in our ignorance (self-consciousness) have spun (projected) a pretender (ego) as ourself who, in believing his will comes first (false absolute)–must eventually come undone–as anything that has a beginning must have an ending.

The gospel story in the Bible is about a man who devotes his life on earth to confronting, penetrating, understanding and resolving the contraries of his ego (satan) existence through every activity of the day (living meditation/religion/faith/life/God). It’s called the Way of the cross: the psychological process by which we transmute the living energy that we are from literal to nonliteral, from material to spiritual, from personal to intupersonal. This is why we are here: to make ourselves Whole (One) again.

Does History Repeat Itself?

It’s not history as such that repeats itself but human nature.

 Human beings are patterns of behavior…and when patterns are reinforced, as in cultural conditioning, they are firmly established, even collectively. Based on past experience, then, the character of those patterns is predetermined by the way in which we see ourselves. And so it is that every generation needs to discover “just what those patterns are” for themselves, and either change the way in which they see or repeat the status quo and eventually regress. Mankind tends to opt for the second choice (it’s easier to be led than to find your own way) and thus civilizations rise and fall. You would think we would catch on after a while–but the spirit of self-examination is weak.

Does The Truth Need To Be Proved?

 

There is truth as in a fact and there is living/being truth. One can demonstrate (prove) a fact in nature, as science does, because such, being relative,  has limitations; but living/being truth requires that one go beyond (through) the literal aspect to the Nonliteral (Spiritual), as Such Rests Complete (wholly Within) in itself (Ourself) and thus Intubeing, requires no watcher or outside witness: we Are what We See.

The world, being ego, demands gratification (the watcher); the Spirit, being Nonego, demands nothing, making no claim on anyone or anything, but just Is! The world is a fact, which requires a demonstration (sensory perception) to validate it; but the Spirit Is Living/Being Truth (Nonsensory Perception), which knows Ourself as a Whole (Energy-Consciousness without an object or validation), and may be called Absolute Relativity (God).

Can Understanding Only Be Achieved Through Words And Language?

 

Words are concepts and thus only metaphor. But metaphor can be the point of penetration where, by the power of suggestion, we may dive into and pass through the thought to reach the understanding as ourself. Understanding Awareness, then, is like a hidden gem discovered deep inside is. Such has been there all the time because we Are that understanding in Principal (the Word/Logos), but until the moment of discovery had not realized ourself as Such. Now, upon selflessly Realizing, we may express this through language (including all of the arts) and have it speak back to us.

So, understanding Awareness is not something that’s achieved or acquired, but rather acknowledged, like a precious gem newly discovered.

What Is The Spiritual Significance Of Human Sexuality?

Ultimately, sex can be one’s complete surrender to That which is greater than oneself, that is, if one still sees Such as the “other” and thus needs to humble his/her pride before God, transmuting life’s energy from literal to nonliteral, from material to spiritual, from personal to intupersonal. Psychologically, one steps into the fire (spirit) of God and burns away the “dross” still being accumulated over time by the soul centered in duality, sensory perception and ego.

Thus in using sex, as with other things (concepts), as a ritual sacrifice and personal offering to God (our innermost Being), this can be, if perfected in practice (with or without orgasm), a purifying and liberating experience, even a blessing (or healing) from God, as all paths may lead to enlightenment–if one’s going that way to begin with–having the same Living Principal behind them and Within us. Indeed, one who is truly devoted consecrates (spiritualizes) every activity entered into–for one finds God already there.

This is the true Way of the cross, of the living cross or path of action…as the Living Principal (Tao), the Word (Christ Jesus/God in man/Atman) Is Within us and Is Us as a Whole (Nonaction)!

Direct Democracy

What has become in modern times the American way (cultural programing), in order to continually sell the product at the expense of others, reinforcing behaviors of self-centeredness, self-indulgence, arrogance, irresponsibility and immortality, simply is not sustainable. It (we) will “bottom out” eventually, like an alcoholic. The excessive behavior that has now taken hold of modern culture, being self-destructive, is in the process of self-undoing, and will destroy itself if we the people don’t recognize this potential danger in us, and confronting the same–without moral judgment but with a firm resolve to right the ship (our planet)–transmute our life’s energy before it’s too late!

One way of collectively doing this is to move from a representational democracy to a direct democracy, where we the people run the country, not the politicans! We have the technology today to do this. There’s no reason why we the people could not vote on all laws and legislation at the local, state and federal levels. And if a law  or legislation is passed, it cannot be repealed unless we the people repeal it in another vote. None of this backstabing of taking the vote to the courts and having some judge, for political reasons, declare it to be unconstitutional. This way, politicans will have only one vote like the rest of us, and no more power than anybody else.

I believe the only cultures or communities that will survive the future on this planet will be governed by its people as a whole. If there is ever to be a true freedom or peace on this planet we the people will need to make it happen by taking responsibility for ourselves as a whole, and not having any special elite remaining superior over us. These so-called leaders simply cannot know for the rest of us–so we need to stand up for ourselves and Be the Freedom and the Peace! There is no other way to actually guarantee it! If we are not living/being such…such is not happening anywhere.

Enlightenment

 

Enlightenment may be described as being like one who is Awake in a dream: though still dreaming, as a point of Light-Conscious Energy (Intuconscious Space), one sees through the dream (darkness) and dream self (ego), selflessly Aware that one Is (as we Are) the Totality of Being rather than a partiality of being, Energy-Consciousness in itself  rather than a form or body of consciousness in mind or in space. That is, the Center or Ground of Awareness Is the Space rather than an object in space, the Energy-Consciousness (pure Intelligence) rather than a concept in mind, the Light (Spirit) rather than a point (face) of light. Thus the dream self may be likened to one’s ego/personality, which is actually a subconscious form or split-consciousness in relation to the Totality of Being–not fully awake. Enlightenment, then, Is Intuconsciousness, Being Fully Awake, Aware, Alive and Whole, a Nonliteral Perspective (wholly Within).

 Therefore,  subconsciously, in still identifying with the body/image/concept/form in mind and in space as ourself, we remain unconscious of ourself as a Whole, being contained by our own life’s energy. And still believing the ego/personality to be one’s real self, we psychologically hold onto the same, and direct (project) our life’s energy to the object in mind and space. This projection, as everything connected with ego is projection in relation to the Totality of Being (Nonego), is the beginning of suffering, even as we remain unconscious of the literal fact that as a form or body of consciousness, we are victimizing ourself with own own projection! This is the human material condition, and thus the dream (partial) state may be thought of as original sin.

So, to be enlightened, then, means to wake up from the dream of duality, sensory perception and ego while still dreaming! This doesn’t mean however that duality, sensory perception and ego goes away or disappears forever, but that we see through it, so to speak, living an attitude of nonattachment and holy indifference. For it is in the living/being an impartial state that allows us to enter into the activity freely, without moral judgment and a sense of guilt blocking our life’s energy. Selflessly Aware, we Are in a State of God’s Grace, making no claim on our action or expecting any reward or credit in the doing. We Are Free to just Be! Thus, to the degree that one can accept the world (duality/sensory perception/ego) as it is, and seeing through it in ourself (the way of the cross), remaining nonattached and holy indifferent, we breathe the Space (Spirit) and we Are the Space, Intuconsciousness (understanding Awareness/unconditional Love). And as this is the primary Purpose of creation, may everyone of Us know Ourself as a Whole!
